Scene 50

Bajaj residence

Prem wakes up early as he had been thinkin through out the night and takes a shower and decides to go down. When he was abt to leave he notices Rajeev sleepin and he was smilin in his sleep. Suddenly Prem remembers wht he did the night before. He goes into the bathroom and comes out with a bucket full of water and pours it on Rajeev. Rajeev jumps up from his bed and look. Prem starts laughin.
Rajeev: Wht the hell?
Prem: Now v r goin to be gr8 friends. Now go back to sleep.Muah!!!
He leaves and Rajeev keeps glarin at the door.


Prem comes down and sees Mukti standin there and her back was towards him, so he quitely goes next to her and hug her from behind and kiss her on her cheeks.
Prem:Good Mornin love.
Mukti:Good Mornin Prem. How come u r up so early.
Prem: Well I just woke up like tht. Wht abt u?
Mukti: It was very cold in the room and when I got up to switch off the ac, I got mornin sickness, after tht didn't get any sleep, so I came down.
Prem gets concerned: How do u feel now?
Mukti: I am fine now.
Prem kisses her again.
Prem: I love u Mukti.
Mukti: I love u too.
Prem: V will go out for a walk?
Mukti: Yeah okay.
Prem and Mukti go out and walk in the garden, Prem was holdin Mukti closely with his arms around her.
Prem: I have been thinkin.
Mukti: Wht?
Prem: Abt our marriage.
Mukti smiles: So is tht a proposal?
Prem: Kinda.
Mukti: So no ring and no gettin down on ur knees.
Suddenly Prem gets down on his knees and takes a ring out of his pocket.
Mukti's eyes starts to fill, she realises tht the day she had been waitin for so long have finally come.
Prem:Mukti Deshmukh, I never believed in love till I met u, I never knew the importance of love till I met u, I never thought tht I wud ever love some1 in life till I met, and I never thought I will ever be on my knees beggin a girl to marry me, and here I am......... I know I have hurt u alot in the past, and I want to spent the rest of my life makin it up to u, I love u Mukti and I have always loved u. It took me a long time to realise wht my heart always knew. I will always keep u happy, and I promise I will never ever hurt u. Will u pls be my wife?
Mukti starts cryin and nodes, Prem puts the ring on her finger and hugs her and he also starts to cry.
Mukti: U have to stop flirtin with other girls.
Prem: Okay.
Mukti: Don't look at other girls.
Prem: Never.
Mukti: And don't call me basanti again.
Prem starts laughin: Tht I won't.
Mukti: U stopped callin others names, y can't u stop callin me basanti.
Prem: 'coz like how basanti talk non-stop and eats off veeru's ears in sholay, u also eat off my ears.
Mukti gets angry and hits Prem and he starts runnin and she runs behind him and they both starts laughin.
Prerna who was watchin all this from her room window has tears in her eyes.
Bajaj: Wht r u doin there Prerna?
Prerna: Lookin at our kids.
Bajaj comes next to her and sees them together.
Bajaj smiles: Kitna kush hey yeh dono.
Prerna: Haan Mr Bajaj, Prem Mukti se bohut pyar karthe hai.
Bajaj: Prem changed alot. Now he is tht son, u always wanted him to be ri8?
Prerna: Yes, now I just want them to get married. Prem will keep Mukti happy.
Bajaj: Yeah thts ri8, otherwise u will have to stand outside Mukti's room every night.
He starts to laugh. Prerna smiles.
Prerna: We will go and talk to Jeevan abt Mukti's and Prem's weddin.
Bajaj: Okay. We will call Anurag and Sam also.

Prem is runnin and he falls down and Mukti hits him again and he hugs. Prerna and Bajaj sees this and smiles.

Scene 51

Prem and Mukti comes in after sometime, and they see Rajeev comin down the stairs.
Prem starts grinnin: Rajeev? Y did u get up so early?Koi Kaam tha?
Rajeev glares at Prem.Mukti starts laughin Prem had told her abt wht happend at night, his revenge and also told her Rajeev bein still angry at Namritha when they were outside.
Mukti: Rajeev did u have breakfast?
Rajeev: No.
Mukti:We r goin to have breakfast now, y don't u join us.

Three of them sits down and starts eatin.
Prem: Hey v got engaged by the way.
Rajeev smiles: Congrats!!!
Mukti: By the way Prem, when did u get the ring?
Prem: When I realised I was in love with u, I got the ring.
Mukti smiles.
Rajeev: Where is Namritha?
Mukti: She hasn't come down yet.
Rajeev: Okay.
Prem: By the way Rajeev, were u dreamin abt her, 'coz u were smilin in ur sleep.
Rajeev angrily: Yeah!!!
Prem starts laughin.
After they finish eatin Mukti takes the plates inside, Prem and Rajeev go to the sittin room. Rajeev's cell starts to ring. He picks it up.
Rajeev: Hello?Haan Rajveer..........Yeah, I am stayin there only.....okay.... I will be goin out now, will be back in an hours time.......okay........ she will be here...........Ok..........I will meet u then.........Bye.
Prem: Some1 is comin to meet u?
Rajeev:Rajveer my elder brother is comin, he wants to meet Namritha, they were pretty close, he was more her brother than mine.He is also pissed with her.
Prem: Poor Namritha.Have to deal with u and ur elder brother.....By the way u goin somewhere?
Rajeev: Yeah, I want to see the FIR and get a copy of the post mortem report. Also i want the case sheet of Mukti's case. Want to see if I can find any clue.
Prem: Even I am comin with u.
Rajeev:Alrite.
Prem: I will just go tell Mukti and come.

Scene 52

Bajaj residence

Prem and Rajeev comes back. Rajeev is goin thru the reports. Prem is sittin next to him.Mukti comes there.
Prem: Where were u till now?
Mukti: Was with Sneha and Namritha.
Prem:Okay. Where is every1 else?
Mukti:Chotima, Sir and Tusshar went to Anurag uncle's house.
Prem: Okay. Sit here.
When Mukti goes to sit next to him, he pulls her and makes her sit on his lap.
Mukti: Rajeev, Namritha was kinda upset tht u didn't tell her tht u were goin out.
Rajeev looks up:Yeah good.
Mukti: Y r u ignorin her like this?
Rajeev gets irritated and looks up at her.
Prem: Baby, dangerous territory, lets not discuss tht.
Rajeev gets back to the paper he was readin. Prem and Mukti starts romancin with each other.
Namritha comes there and keep a cup of black coffee next to Rajeev. He looks up at her.
Namritha: I know u like to drink black coffee when u work.
Rajeev:I didn't ask for coffee.
Namritha: Pls don't be so rude to me Jeev.
Rajeev: U called me to save ur friend, if I have to save ur friend, I need to work, so don't disturb me now.
Namritha feels bad and she gets up and goes to her room.

Prem to Mukti: I will come now.
Prem goes behind Namritha. Sees her cryin.
Prem: Namritha?Pls don't cry.He doesn't really mean all tht.
Namritha: No , he hates me now.
Prem: He doesn't. He loves u alot. He is angry 'coz he loves u and u mean a lot to him. Y don't u think from his side? U just left him and he didn't know where u were, how u were gonna survive and whether u were alive or dead. Think abt wht wud u have done if u were in his position? After tht talk to him.

Prem comes back and sits with Mukti.
Prem: Wht r u readin?
Rajeev: Mukti's case.
Mukti: Y r u readin tht?
Rajeev: Wanted to get some basic idea of wht happend durin the trial.
Rajeev looks at Prem: How is she?
Prem: Cryin.
Rajeev: Hell!!!(He gets up). Did u console her?
Prem: Yeah, she is fine now. Thinkin.
Rajeev gets suspicious: Abt wht? If u gave her some weird idea abt dumpin me
Prem interrupts him: She told me u hate her and I tried my best to convice her tht u love her. She is thinkin abt wht she did,she will come and talk to u when she is ready.
Rajeev: Thanx.
Prem smiles: No problem.
Rajeev again starts readin, and Prem starts to play with Mukti's hair and irritate her and kiss her and she starts to blush.
Suddenly Rajeev: Bloody!!!
When Prem looks up Rajeev is starin at him.
Prem: Wht happend?
Rajeev looks at Mukti: Y r u still with him???
Prem: Reached where I gave my statement.
Rajeev: Yeah.
Prem looks at Mukti sadly: I am so sorry Mukti.
Mukti: It's okay. (She turns to Rajeev) Prem has changed after tht. I have always wanted him to change and love me. And now he has become tht man who I wanted. I always loved tht Prem, who he hid inside Yudi, and he is tht Prem now.Our past is just past.
Prem kisses Mukti.
