Ashish Vidyarthi shares his health update in a live session from the hospital post the Guwahati road accident

Seasoned actor Ashish Vidyarthi recently garnered attention following reports that he and his spouse, Rupali Barua, sustained injuries in a late-night road mishap in Guwahati on Friday evening. According to accounts, he and his wife were traversing the street after dining when a swiftly moving motorcycle unexpectedly collided with them, resulting in injuries. Reports indicated that law enforcement from the Geetanagar police precinct promptly arrived at the location, and while the injured motorcyclist was transported to Gauhati Medical College Hospital for treatment, Ashish and Rupali also received medical attention.

Subsequently, Ashish Vidyarthi broadcast live on Instagram from the hospital to reassure his admirers that both he and Rupali were unharmed, and that they had only suffered minor injuries.

On Saturday, Ashish Vidyarthi took to Instagram Live to confirm that both he and his wife are safe and in good condition. Although Rupali is under medical observation as a precautionary measure, Vidyarthi emphasized there is no reason for concern.

He stated that he only suffered a minor injury and can walk, speak, and stand without any issues. He also shared that he inquired with the police for an update on the motorbike rider, who, he was informed, has regained consciousness. In his video, Ashish Vidyarthi said, "Just to let you all know, because I'm seeing all kinds of things being reported on many news channels. Rupali and I were crossing a street yesterday when a bike hit us. We are both fine. Rupali is under observation, and everything is okay. I'm good too. I've had a small injury, but that's it. I'm absolutely fine. I am walking, talking, standing-everything is normal."

He further added, "This is just to inform you that yes, the incident happened, but we are good. There is nothing to sensationalise. That's where things stand. I also checked with the police about the bike rider; he has regained consciousness as well. I wish well for everyone and want to tell you that everything is fine. Thank you so very much. About the accident

News Live reported that the incident occurred in front of The Guwahati Address Hotel, within the jurisdiction of the Geetanagar Police Station. The motorcycle, allegedly traveling at excessive speed from the Chandmari direction, collided with the actor and his wife, also injuring the rider.
