Chapter-1

Meeting in a disguise

Geet put the coffee mug on the table and looked at the door for 11th time.She was not anticipating any guest.She, being the guest herself at moment,was anticipating the host to arrive. Host who was actually the owner of that lavish villa whose architectural beauty had smitten her already.She was once again treating her eyes with the architectural beauty ,sitting in the large drawing room when he made his entry. She checked him from head to toe.He was a person with an aura of authority and dominance. She was reading his gestures so deeply not only because it was a part of her job to notice one's activities but he appeared to be owner of a personality whose presence cannot be ignored.

"Hello miss Geet"he brought forward his hand for a shake.

"Hello maan"she shook his hand .

"So you met pari???you are her college friend right.."He took his seat on the opposite side on the black couch"sorry we could not invite you for our marrige..everything happened so fast"

"no..no..its ohk ..i understand..Pari told me everything except certain details which she insisted i should be informed by you" she said with a wink. He scowled in the response'what kind of details???"

"Dont worry maanl i am not going to ask about your income tax matters.. Don't get so scared" she laughed loudly this time.

He responded in a slight smile"Then what's it all about???"

'Since you guys did not invite me for your wedding ceremony..you owe me a grand treat and your 'lovestory".Geet told with a sweet smile.

'our lovestory???"Maan raised an eyebrow.

"Yes..please let me know how you guys met and how it ended with "being soulmates"..Geet insisted.

"ohk..i will tell you,,,but its not ended..our journey has started only"

She did not miss the possessive gleam in his eyes when he said those words."i will tell you about me and pari tomorrow..hope you can wait.."

she nodded in yes with a smile.

'Is he fine"anxiety was clearly visible in pari's voice..

Geet did not know what to answer as it is impossible to judge one person by one meeting"He seemed fine to me"

"but he does not seem fine to me..He is changing..He is not the same person whom i married 6 months ago" pari retorted.

'People change with time pari..may be you are overreacting"

"no..no..something is wrong i know.." pari was getting more anxious.

"ohk..ohk..i am here na...i wont let happen any thing wrong..trust me..'Geet assured her.

"hmm"pari was bit calm now,,"Did he tell you about us???"

'not yet...but he is going to tell me "your" lovestory tomorrow..hope that will help me..i have to wait till tomorrow before arriving to any conclusion"Geet answered.

"hmm..i understand.."pari gave an understanding node.

"ohk then i will come tomorrow"Geet said giving a warm hug to pari..

Pari hugged her back. Geet took her hand bag and moved towards the door..As Geet reached near the door,she turned and said" Dont let him know that i am a psychiatrist.

very interesting and different...i know you are yet to evolve the story but still...loved the beginning

so Maana nd Paria re amrried but pari suspects something. She has asked Geet for her help who is a psycatrist...so let's see what she finds out...

yes story will evolve with coming chapters...😊Thanks for liking this "abrupt" kind of starting...coming parts will set the story very soon...

First of all thanks for liking the start of the story..I am glad you are looking for different version of "maaneet"..😊

Coming to this PM thing..let me tell you..I am noob here{ok i am few weeks old here}..Very recently i have assumed that PM means personal message{correct me if i am wrong}
..Many people have asked me for this pm thing before too..Now i am little confused about whom should i pm??{only those who have asked for it or everyone i know}what should I pm??..Do i have to pm "entire chapter" or should i pm that i have updated my story...

Kindly help..I will highly appreciate that..😆

PM means privet message. They send PMs having the link of the chapter updated. U can send it to those who hit the like button.

Nice to see u again with a new maaneet story. Concept is good. It will be intresting to see, who is whos obsession. I geuss, i have got sum hint but not sure. Will wait to confirm my geussing. CONGRATS nd ALL THE BEST FOR UR NEW WORK!
