Entropy Entropy

No..i won't let you talk to her on this matter...Adamancy was evident from the tone in which maan said those words.It was not a reply to geet's suggestion,rather it was a decision announced with minimal chances of further argument on it.

"But maan..you are not understanding.."

"No..you are not understanding the situation..i can't risk her health geet..she passed out in my arms last night...Doctor has clearly instructed to avoid any kind of mental stress...Its harmful for her."His voice was agitated.

"And this problem is also equally harmful for her..you can't imagine maan what those poems can make her do.."

"I know very well but can't you do your treatment without letting her know or without discussing it with her??"Statement was more like a plea."I mean with medications..vaccinations..."

"or electric shocks.."Geet gritted her teeth in exasperation"Why are you so stubborn,maan???".

"why are you so stubborn,geet"Maan mimicked her.

"Fine..i won't be stubborn any more...just tell me how i should treat her..apart from vaccinations and medicines ofcourse..they can be harmful during preganancy.."geet said crossing her arms on her chest.

"you know very well..i have only one treatment...keeping her away from poems,,,"

geet sighed in disappointment which made him chuckle.

"you know..it would be far easy this time..Pari herself is very aware about how pernicious these poems are to her.."

"Really..that means i was thinking right..She had realized her obsession,maan"

"Yes.."suddenly memories of previous night replayed in his mind.

"Did pari tell you about her problem maan???"

"She wanted to but I did not let her.."He looked in her eyes.."Its pretty hard to make your husband understand that how few poetic lines can cast such powerful spell over you that makes you forget yourself.."

Geet was able to feel the awkwardness that pari would have faced that time..It would be similar if she had to confess that she was attracted to a married person.

"Hmm..you are right at your place maan..but we can't keep her away always..She can find these poems anywhere..and we don't know her source yet..you cant keep her in one room for whole life..."

"I can't say anything about whole life but..For now..i have to save her from "entropy".."

"entropy.???"Geet scowled.

"yes..poet of all those poems ." Maan answered looking in her eyes.

Its then geet realized that she had missed that point.All those poems which she had believed cause of Pari's trance like state ,are written by same person with the name "entropy".

"Who is this entropy???"Geet asked more to herself than maan.

"whoever she or he is..i won't let "entropy" enter in pari's life anymore..."Determination was sparkling in his eyes,,,"But first i have to find this "entropy"...

A loud horn from the car behind hers broke her reverie.Geet was lost looking at the large hording on the road and did not realize when signal turned green. It was normal for her these day to behave little lost as her brain was busy in finding one person "entropy".She pressed the accelerator in order to move the car as well as halted traffic behind her.There was a diagram of brain on the hording showing ten percent of part of its intelligence and remaining ninety percent google.She cursed herself repeatedly. Since past three weeks,there was no book store left in the city which was devoid of her precious visit But she was unable to find any book or poetry by this entropy.She even spent hours chatting with her pretty old friends who were fond of literature.They were also clueless just like her.But not even once,idea of searching it on internet crossed her mind.She indeed felt like an "idiot".As soon she reached her home,first thing that she done was switching on her laptop.

She could not wait any longer as her fingers pressed entropy in the search box.There were dozen of links provided in the results but none was proven of her interest. Enthusiasm which was prominent when she typed entropy was soon faded.She opened links after links with tiny hope in her heart but all went in vain.She was tired.With lazy steps she walked towards her small kitchen in order to get a cup of coffee..She felt relaxed as warm coffee wemt down her throat."one more futile attempt..".She remarked with disappointment.It was long time since she had surfed internet. On an impulse,she checked her gmail as well as facebook. There were more than ten notifications,some messages from her friends and some pending friend requests. Apart from entropy other name which ruled her heart and brain these days was maan. She could not stop herself from searching maan on facebook,though chances of him using facebook were minimal..There were many maans but one of his interest was found after some effort.His profile was more bland than hers with no profile pic and particular information.The only thing that proved that it was his profile was the only person in his friend list.."Pari khurana".Her cursor automatically clicked on the name. Pari was far more active on facebook with many friends. Her eyes were roaming on the computer screen when they caught most astounding thing on her profile. She rubbed her eyes again and again to ensure that it was real. She had never thought entropy would be found at that place. Pari was the member of group"entropy" on the facebook. She immediately clicked and page opened.It was the group for aspiring poets with 258 other members.They could post their poetic creations there. After handful minutes,she was able to find all the poems form pink diary there. The next thing was to find the person who posted them.Her heart was thumping like drum with anticipation few minutes before but again despair covered it,as she clicked on the name.Poems were posted by some person with the name "entropy entropy"."It might be a pen name"..She thought.There was no another information available apart from her gender and country. She was a girl from USA.

Geet sighed.She was back to the point from where she had started.She joined the group entropy and logged out.Her coffee got cold.It was more terrible than disappointment that she felt on her visits to various bookstores. One good thing that came out from that surfing sessions was that she had found a genuine reason to call maan.Her heart jumped with the joy in anticipation of hearing his voice as these days he was pretty busy with his pregnant wife and mission 'keep-her-away-from-entropy". A smile lit her face when she picked her cell phone to make maan aware of recent developments and addition of one more entropy to previous entropy...!!!!!!!!!!!
