hi folks!

watched the episode after completing my chores, had read Tani's LU thread and saw everyone getting excited about the hug and that was the only eye catcher in the whole epi it seems but there was more to it...

the scene starts with the three begums and a badshah..! begum number one is talking about taking a practical decision, and to some extent she is right, only if her intentions are not politically driven..begum number 2 is a combination of slight practicality and emotion, she has a soft corner for begum 3 and also does not want any misunderstanding between the badshah and his third begum..a mature, sensible, sensitive decision but not necessarily right!..the third begum is purely emotion driven and takes a decision entirely filled with emotions which at times could be dangerous, and at times could save someone's life as it happened in the vish paan case!

now what a badshah should do, whom should he listen to, which begum..the one who is giving him a practical advice so that such a thing never happens again..or to the one whose son was involved in the incident and advices to let it go..or to the third who has emotional attachment to the culprit?

the badshah is rahim's atalik..and is emotionally attached to the third begum his jodha begum..he does not want to hurt her feelings and even want to make sure rahim is safe..he has a bigger picture to look at..his decisions cannot be completely emotion driven, there has to be a balance in giving a just and fair verdict!

generally the females are emotion driven and that is how god has made them..being emotional leads to immediate action taken when the child is hungry..which is more to do with in born maternal instincts and men on the other hand look at the broader picture and are comparatively far sighted, visionary, and being a king the responsibility increases many folds! therefore, in my opinion the decision should be taken keeping in mind the benefit of all and not emotion driven due to having a soft corner for one more than the others!

in this case what he decided was mainly because of salima making him realize the bond that jodha shared in her trying times with shehnaaz and he was already guilt driven from the situation hence decided to go with his second begum's advice..and if he is practical enough he should also take some precautionary measures to make sure such a thing does not happen again! but will our natkiye rupantar cover it all, i doubt their main focus now will be how shehnaaz will create trouble..and the cycle will go on...

so here i put this question in front of you all.. which begum do you think was right and why and did the badshah take the right decision?

I would go for begum1. I know she wanted to take advantage of situation to create drift b/w akdha but it cant b neglected that her each n every words were true. Be it her future fear or current scenario. Coming to begum 2 she said that shenaaz is like a child n not mad!! But even people with childish behaviour r dangerous!! She should have said that I will make sure that shenaaz doest create ny trouble in future or that she will take care of Rahim more but only thing that she said that nothing bad happened n acted as cupid n not as mother or queen. Now comes begum 3 ,srry to say but along with begum 2 she also didnt realised the depth of entire situation. She showed concern for shehnaaz. now comes badhshah's decision, so he said jodha to make sure for departure of shehnaaz which was apt decision. As of now we havent seen him taking u turn from his decision. Among all 4 person only he understood the depth of situation n what could have happened n what can happen in future. So for the time being I agree with his decision n I hope that he doesnt change it. N the very fact that he didnt apologised to jodha for the reason of shouting says that he is still following his inner instinct.

nice and thought provoking post mandy 😊...well if you look at the situation from an entirely practical perspective then ofcourse rukiya was right ...only if her intentions were right and she did not have hidden evil motives for taking this stance i would have appreciated her pov further ...rahim's life was in danger had jalal not saved him in the nick of time anything could have happened ...nd on top of that shenhnaaz was laughining nd clapping ..this infuriated jalal and is very much justified ...coming to salima well it seemed more than her son she was bothered abt akdha ...i quite did not like her supporting shehnaaz ...it wasnot some small incident which could be over looked easily ...coming to jodha ...as i said in earlier posts excessive goodness can prove to be dangerous at times ...i did not like jodha defending shehnaaz at all...nd by trusting shehnaaz nd supporting her jodha is marching towards a suicide mission ...so yes i would say rukiya's pov was the best yesterday if only her intentions were right ...

Hi Mandy,
Valid points. But, it was difficult to decide yesterday.

And, even a REAL Shahenshah can be emotional. Akbar also forgave Sharifuddin 4 times in 20 years. He also forgave Munim Khan, despite his hand in killing Jalal's OWN ATALIK - Atga Khan.!!!!...

Infact, there are many such instances. Where such confusions of practicality vs emotionality arise and I am just mentioning at times certain decisions were taken which were not considered practical. :)

all three had valid points and it was difficult to decide what to do, but i think the first instinct is always right, and the first instinct of jalal was that she needs treatment and i think he was not wrong in saying that, ruk's advice was more practical and apt for that moment, but the rest were more emotionally driven!

you have very good points there! jalal's first instinct was right, he could see the depth of the situation and took the decision accordingly but because of salima's advice he might change his mind and go with jodha's will which i think will not be practical and as we all know what the result is going to be..it will be dangerous which no one is aware as of now!

Good post Mandy !
I'm more upset with SB than anyone else, she was a let down, its not that she should have been mad with anger but a mother whose 4 year old child if not saved on time could have died is expected to react with both fear and anger in such cases. Being emotional is not enough ! Sending Shehnaz back to Mathura is what she should have advice Jalal. I'm not at all surprised with Jodha, she is naive, and I really want her to get shock of her life when Shehnaz's and Sharif's truth comes out. Not everyone can be forgiven on basis of emotions ! and its a lesson she is in dire need to learn.
I feel Ruqaiya (excluding her evil intentions) was right ! Jalal has forgiven people because of the emotional bond he and his family shared with them but it does not mean he should ignore each and every crime/mistake just because the one who committed it has a pawan heart. What kind of logic this is 😕.

begum # 1 ... I strongly believe...rukayya character has so layered ..one positivness from her side and all sympathies of ladies audience go there ... why ?? .bec she is not any other woman .or x girl friend of hero like in every other daily soap where after hero heroin wedding his x love interest lost her all rights bec legally and ethically she has no relation with the hero
here it is different..
.she is emperor first queen ... still has all the rights... so to give benefit of innocence and purity to their heroin , they add this benefit of not good intension in ruqayya wise advice... so silly of CV... no mattr what, yesterday her worry for Rahim was geniun ...but when she saw tht idiot shahnaz drama and Rahim was save in jalal arms...they made her to let use situation but truth is ...her eah and every word was absolutely right ..her each and every argument had weight ... 👏
now salima... who is really Rahim mother... Rahim is her responsibility ...maan liya ...ruku is dumbest in agra but I m amazed ... people who already hate ruku are saying ...she falll from their eyes completely 😆...she doesn't care Rahim not jalal...from where jalal came here ?...and does salima has care of Rahim...??
strange...and since when ruku was up in these people eyes 😕
salima all arguments were so ajeeb
first jodha begum ki friend ...kamal hae bhai
second ..she is like child... can I dare to ask Q to jodha begum bhakht ... this Q was actually asked by mother of Rahim to shahnha in favor of girl who pushed her son...if this wil happen with Rahim u ill forgive him Shahansha bec of his age??..now give me a break ...if some one come to my house push my son from upper floor how can I feel same for my son n tht mentally ill lady ...
so my Q is if Rahim by mistake wll push shahnaz ...does really his mother think of him he will be clapping and laughing like maniac in tht situation... I mean salima should say this in argument I, f some one dare to give this in favor of shahnaz infront of her ...kia aap mere bache ko itna pagal samajhti hain k kisi ko dhakka de kr woh khushi se taliya bajaeyga
and here salima begum her self giving this argument
..
tell me mandy u r mother
I m mother
tell me each n every mother here...
can any one of us can think even in our dream tht some other person love our child more than us... even my mom ...my saas, my sisters, even some time mothers don't believe father can love their child more than her...
salima said this with so ease... hame yakeen hae Shahansha jodha begum rahim ko ham sae aur aap sae bhi zyada pyar karti hae...
really😲??
and
jodha begum attach to shahnaz emotionally...seriously?? ..so she is allowed to live freely in royal house hold with her mental disorder where she can ham any child or person with zero sence tht she did some thing wrong ..just bec jodha begu attached emotionally to her
ruku said ...shahnaz pushed her intentionalyy..ohk...
actually she was right...shahnaz did push Rahim in her complete sense
...
really I m amzed on salima yesterday
Rahim must be harassed ... after jodha left the room who was taking care of Rahim while his mother was convincing Shahansha tht shahnaz is innocent...who the hell is shahnaz for a mother infront of his terrified child ...
..
and for jodha..
I don't want to say any thing...
seriously
for me this is the most irritatin character I ever watch ... so I don't cmmen her for now

yes, i do agree that ruk was right in this situation and jalal did go with her advice in the beginning but as the majority had made up their mind to defend shehnaaz, jalal had to go by the majority at the end! but i did like his decision in the beginning which was so apt for the given situation!
