1) Jalal doesn't know of Ruqu's oppurtunist intentions at this point...purely from a common sense point of view, an emperor simply CANNOT have a "mentally unstable" (Jalal doesn't know Shenu is evil, which is an even worse situation) unknown person running around loose in his palace simply because his favourite queen (out of more than 100) has developed a fancy for her a few days back, & she "thinks" that this seemingly unstable & hence dangerous person is pure hearted.

2)Jodha argued that Shenu had the mind of a child (at this point, no one in the fort knows that Shenu is evil. Hence we have to consider her as mentally deranged only). She did not push Rahim intentionally...agreed.

BUT...Shenu has the STRENGTH of an adult, which resulted in the threat to little Rahim's life. Hence an adult mentally unstable person is of grave danger in the future too, to the child in the palace, that is Rahim.

3)There is a difference in goodness & foolishness...Jodha, in trying to be good, is being foolish. There is no room for foolishness when the safety of an emperor's palace & it's inmates is concerned.

4) Salima...her having empathy for Jodha, was appreciable & indeed noble. But this kind of blind Bhakti is not. I seriously wonder 2 things:
A. Would Salima have reacted in a similar way had Rahim been her own flesh & blood, & not her step-son?
B. Isn't Salima also in some ways an opportunist?...she perfectly understands that Jalal & Jodha are closer than ever before, & will eventually patch up. So, better to be in their good books & let go of this Shenu matter lightly.
ANY OTHER MOTHER in place of Salima would have been totally devastated that her only child has just had a narrow escape from probably a fatal accident.
But here, Salima was as calm as a log of wood. I wonder y???!?! 😕

After Salim is born, will Jodha allow Jalal to continue to have a mentally unstable person like Shehnaaz brought in by Ruqu (or any other queen for that matter) into the palace after a similar close escape from a near fatal accident??!.
..I guess we all know the answer to that...😆

khushi, you have very well placed all the points logically! and loved your last part in bold! never mind salim what if we as one of the mothers placed in a similar situation, i would run away with my kid to a safer place and never let him be around shenu!

Ruqaiya for giving it a negative spin. Jalal for his inability to see Jo's POV. Jodha for trusting Shenaaz too much. Salima for ignoring a mistake at the cost of emotions.

Ye sab chal jaata if either Jo had chided Shehnaaz or simply told her to be more careful next time. Or Jo herself keeping a closer eye on her. If Jo couldn't reach to these conclusions herself, Jalal or Salima could have asked her to take a few precautions regarding Shehnaaz.

But that is too much logic to ask from an indian serial 🤢

Jo's POV was that Shehnaaz is "paavan"...so what if she is mentally deranged?...she did not intentionally push Rahim...right?

So the Emperor should have the ability to overlook everything else which is much more sensible & only have the ability to see Jodha's POV??? 😆...

Mandy, honestly no one behaved practically here except for Jalal himself, but the same was put down by SB with her emotional discussions about Jodha and Shehnaz.
Even though Ruq's suggestion was practical, she did not give it with that intention, if she had thought about Rahim and given that suggestion, then yes I agree she was right, her suggestion was right, but her motive behind the suggestions were not. Except for Jalal, who thought as a father and thinking about Shehnaz's mistake, no one else thought that way.
If a kid had fallen by accident from a sane person, they can advise that person to be careful in future, how can you expect the same suggestion to be given to an insane and expect things can be right in future?

I really did not like yesterday's situation...Jodha has lost her mind how can she support that pagal acting woman in this critical situation, and on that she is not ready to send her to treatment...what the hell wrong with this woman...I am waiting for the day when she comes to know that shenaz has come to kill her husband, what she will do then and where her bashans will go...enough of this hell situation which is showing both jalllu and jodha in weak position, one is blind by love and another one is blind by the mode that she is right in everything she do......she knows that shenaz is mentally stable then why she is not letting her to have treatment which type of love is this for her friend ????...I think this CV people have left thinking logically about situation...even the king who control the whole kingdom is unable to make her understand what is wrong and right but another way around he said sorry and made that pagal to stay back...😲

Well I am too irked by all the three begums 😡😡😡
But coming to Shehanshaah...I think Jalal can allow Shehnaaz to remain in the palace but given mental state can arrange for her treatment and involve a secret agent, exclusively, to always keep an eye on her, so that nothing untoward happens again...
P.S. No one knows about Shehnaaz's truth.

Right ! but I wanted Jalal to send her back to Mathura which was his original decision before the brainwashing. He can ask Todarmal to inform the ashram to take good care of Shehnaz and look after her treatment, he can always take care of the expenses of her treatment and other needs. I still fail to understand what injustice would have done with Shehnaz if she was sent back to the place from where she has come from. If Jodha is really worried about her friend then I'm sure Jalal will not stop her from visiting Shehnaz frequently. Jodha and SB's argument was just ridiculous and beyond practicality. 😡

The question here is not about justice or injustice...Jalal is doing, what he can do best in this situation, without irking Jodha...its not about him being partial...its about Her and their relationship being still in vulnerable state...I feel nothing wrong if Jalal listens to one whom he LOVES...when a seed is planted, the sapling is cared for and protected for more...its quite natural...and we must not forget the GREAT VACHAN...which Jodha gave to Shehnaaz to always remain with her, though Jalal may not know this but Jodha then will surely go with Shehnaaz to Mathura...Jodha is one from where he draws his strength, but when it comes to her, she's his weakness...THEY BOTH HAVE LONG WAY TO BECOME EACH OTHER'S STRENGTH...the sapling is yet to become a tree, which will give them soothing shade.

We've to think from what is shown in JA, we will need a wall to bang our head, if we use too much logic 🥱

Well im not satisfied with any of his begums. Evryone were trying to establish their own point but noone understood the real situation. Rahim calls all of them "ammijaan" nd loves all of them. Similarly all of them love rahim. But I was highly disappointed when noone reacted as a mother. Ruku's agrument was right but she wanted to take advantage of the situation at least in rahim's case she should have kept her intentions aside. I agree salima was trying to be a peace maker but instead of talking to jalal she should have gone to jodha nd explained why jalal reacted like this. Besides I didn't liked the argument tht shehnaaz is a kid but though she is a kid mentally physically she is an adult so this thing cant be taken so lightly. Coming to jodha I agree shehnaaz was her emotional support in mathura but still shehnaaz is her responsibility. Nd her dialogue "baccho k sath to aisa hota rehta hain" was really silly. If shehnaaz is a kid then also parents should scold the kid to make them realize tht they r wrong. For me only jalal stood out who was only thinking about rahim. Nd also his stand to send shehnaaz to mathura was right. Practically she needs treatment.

so everything revolves around Jodha and the Great Vachan , Anyhow Jodha Madam's vachan is going to be broken (not by her but due to circumstances) when Shehnaz's truth is out ! But still keeping an eye on Shehnaz is not going to be done as Jalal by now is convinced by Salima that Shehnaz did not do anything intentionally. True, Jodha is his weakness but not everything she does and says is right. Jalal always takes positives and ignores the negativity like he does with MA and Ruq, he could have done similar in this case too. Problem is every one of them was discussing how innocent/evil/mentally challenged Shehnaz is but none gave a thought about Rahim and his safety! Initially Jalal did think about him only but later he got convinced. We can't always expect logic from any show but this show is missing simple points and making me 😡 😆. If Jalal always plays it safe because his relation with Jodha is not yet blossomed fully then its always going to be same like this ! that means illogical tracks 😉.
