*Season 2, Week 11* Analysis Thread

Welcome to the weekly analysis thread, where we dissect the heck out of the characters, situations, and the possibilities for the leap! This thread is dedicated to in-depth character and story analysis in this new phase of the show. Let's explore how the show, in its complexity makes us think. We leave the thread open-ended so that we can discuss varied topics with each other in a more informal way, and new thread begins every Sunday evening for ongoing discussions as the week unfolds. This means we accept other people's viewpoints with respect, and don't call them names for not agreeing with us. Either we continue the argument calmly, supported by examples from the show, or we respectfully agree to disagree and leave that discussion alone.

Watching the whole week episodes from when Soha makes her request to where Dev and Sonakshi decide to fulfill it, it felt like a track similar to Ishwari pills drama. At that time when Ishwari comes to know Dev and Sonakshi's relationship, she first pretends to be ok with it. Then says she is happy with their decision. But finally unable to face the truth that she is not happy in their happiness, that she does not like them being together overdoses on the pills. Following that Dev breaks up with Sonakshi. When he does that he not only breaks Sonakshi's heart, but also her trust.

Soha after accepting Dev as her papa, made a wish that she wants to stay with both of them as she cannot choose one of them. Both Dev and Sonakshi try to convince that it will not happen. Soha accepts their decision, but comes up with her own next steps where she tells them that she will move away from them as she cannot see them separate. Just like pills overdose, Soha lives for Kolkata to be away from them. This time Dev tells Sonakshi that they have to fulfill their daughters wish and live together. This time he may not have won Sonakshi's heart, but he has definitely regained her trust. Dev is definitely on the right path this time. 😆 😉 . If Ishwari's actions separated them, Soha's actions reunited them.

And after reading the TOI spoilers for the week, it looks like it is going to be another amazing week with both khatti and meeti episodes. 😃
