I, however, had a doubt and hope somebody offers a valid explanation for this. (Sorry, for diverting from the topic of discussion.)

I feel Ex-GKB should be happy that Dev is going away from Ishwari Niwas for Bose house, as in the house would be all to herself and slowly she would evict Ishwari too from the house. Why is she instigating Ishwari in the opposite direction? Why is she not finding ways so that Dev stays in Bose house forever and never comes back? In fact, I assume if she asked Dev all his property in return of happily living with Suhana, he would happily oblige. Can anyone throw light on where she is going with her conspiracies?

I remember, during the first break-up, Mamaji had told Dev that he too had fallen in love with a girl but couldn't marry her due to family pressure. He is still paying the price for his mistake. Does that explain his neglect of Vicky? As in he is more fatherly towards Dev than Vicky, any child would feel unloved if he is told that he is 'nalayak' day and night. Does this also explain Ex-GKB's dislike of Sona, in particular? because Dev loved her? Maybe Ex-GKB also felt that her husband doesn't love her so much, is only compromising.

Please throw some light on this aspect of the story...

PS: I just remembered the famous dialogue 'Mere husband mujhse pyaar nhi karte'...😆😆

Tia, both Vickky and GKB are greedy people who want the riches and comfort without working for it. Although Dev has made Vickky the CEO, it is actually Dev who works hard to make the money. Vickky is there in that seat for more of a show than actually doing much work. Also if they ask Dev to give them everything, then the truth regarding their greed will come out, which they don't want. What GKB is trying to do is stop Sonakshi or Suhana from entering IN. When GKB first entered IN, what she wanted was to rule over it. She wanted to be in the equal position to Ishwari and total control of the finance for herself and Vickky. For that her first thought was to remove anyone and anythign which was closer to Ishwari. She also felt it was Vickky's money which was going to Sonakshi in the sense that Dev was giving so much money to Sonakshi which according to her was supposed to belong to Vickky one day (hope I made sense in what I wanted to convey). GKB assumed all of the money belonging to Dev as hers and she did not want any of it spent on anybody other than her. She saw that as a waste.

Now coming to Soha, she is trying to play divide and conquer. Previously she separated Dev and Sonakshi by playing on Ishwari's fears that she would be sidelined and Dev would forget her. This time too she is trying to play the same game. She knows that Sonakshi might have left Dev, but she will definitely not leave Soha. She will fight. What GKB is looking for this constant chaos with Ishwari, Dev and Sona so that none pays attention to what she is doing. She is taking a risk by saying put a case to get Soha as your poti only. Her idea is if Sonakshi gives up and Suhana comes there permanantly, then they will come up with somethign else to remove Suhana from Dev's life. If Sonakshi does not give up, then the "problem" as they consider Sona and Soha will be removed permanently.

They have also seen that after Dev and Sonakshi broke up, Ishwari had confined herself mostly to her room and Dev was not paying attention towards family. That is when GKB and Vickky rose to having the power they had in the beginning of the leap. But with Soha and Sona coming into the picture, Dev and Ishwari are slowly gaining back that control. Dev is coming home everyday, is not drinking a lot and is also goign to office everyday. Ishwari too is no longer confining herself to her room, but is paying attention to the kitchen and affairs of the home. This is not something that GKB and Vickky want.

Apart from this the last time, Dev blamed Ishwari and stopped paying attention to her. They know that if anythign happens to Soha i.e. if she is separated from Dev, Dev is definitely going to blame Ishwari and permanently will leave her which is what they want.

Sorry if the post lacks structure, have too many thoughts regarding this. 😃

I doubt GKB will send Dev out. Both GKB and Vicky realize that Dev is a money making machine. They want him to be useful in every aspect until he can. In essence Dev is a caged golden bird, that lays eggs, sending him out would be selling the bird off and only taking a minimal amount of eggs, while it can be for a lifetime supply.

So basically, she is trying to play by reverse psychology with Ishwari - suggesting the opposite of what she wants, to get what she wants. She is using Dev and Ishwari for fulfilling her greed and plans more for the future. I also wonder why Dev or Ishwari don't sense this, or maybe they don't seem to mind because of the 'ehsaan'. And Ex-GKB is doing 'paisa-vasool' of the entire investment of 'supporting' Ishwari, Dev and his sisters years back. I also wonder why Mamaji doesn't object this way of taking advantage of an ehsaan.
