The cvs were not showing the mcp attitude . They were showing how the word feminist is being perceived nowadays. Not as someone who believes in equality but who believes in female superiority.

It has become the female equivalent of MCP

Well said, Feminist word itself talks about equality between both the sexes.
Was listening to Emma's speech where she talks about being a feminist. She said I am a feminist bcz i have seen myself being sexually ridiculed, bcz i have seen my female friends dropping out from sports, bcz i have seen my male friends stop expressing their emotions. She mentioned both the sexes in her speech, bcz feminism is not only about women, but equality among sexes.

Good morning guys!
For me Dev has always been a feminist. His idea was equality everywhere, regardless of gender. In fact, he wanted his sisters to take decisions on their own when time came. I have read before on this forum that Dev is worse than a typical MCP. Not just Dev, many people don't associate feminism to this, as they believe that this equal treatment is a given in today's society (it is not in the underbelly but for the most part it seems to be). So when Sonakshi did the whole passport office thing, Dev was angry as he himself had offices to take care of etc., and Sonakshi made him wait. This mocked (in a way) that he had nothing better to do and can wait while Sonakshi was a busy bee. In fact, I live in the U.S, and the AP Psych class took a poll of our students. The asked questions about genders in STEM, the pay gap etc. But their final question was "Are you a feminist?", our AP Stats class constructed statistical diagrams and people have answered no for the last question while they answered in favor for women in other questions. Feminism varies from person to person.

Oh Payal ! Absolutely. We met in beliefs at a lot of points including how Boses were incorrect in a few instances.
Not sure where, but I have definitely posted a lot of wrongs of the Boses and Sona too. However when I do a 'versus' analysis I fall short with regards to Dev's side.

Bijoy was absolutely wrong when he decided to run away with Soha. Now Soha has learnt a life lesson - Do a zidd and win. Not a good one!

Sona was trying to help Neha's situation as per her terms. For Sona money is non -entity. isn't it kind of same with most educated women/men too.(Pise ka kya hai- education hai , hard work ki capacity hai, kama lenge, aj nahi to kal :-)))

However she failed to realize and view it from Neha's POV. Neha didn't have it in her to go out and earn her lifestyle. And she did put a lot of onus on material confort.

But in defence of Sona , I'll say Sonakshi didn't go and outright create issues, She considered Neha as her own and wanted to solve the problem... it back fired coz she had very high opinion(false one) of her problem solving capacity.

Other than that I feel she has been pretty ok, faulty a little but never mean and spiteful. She did put a lot of hard work in to her marriage. But the continuous insults and disparing remarks got to her... happens.

Dev's behaviour towards Ish was indifferent and sarcastic during the initial post-leap phase. He lashed out at her twice.Once after he learnt that Ish had met Asha in the market and secondly after he was beaten up by those goons. However this behaviour took a drastic turn as soon as Soha came into the frame.Even after knowing that it was Ish who sent away Sona when she had returned to Dixit House all he did was give a mild rebuke to Ish whereas he confronted Sona rudely even after knowing that she had made an attempt to return.I understand his anger towards Sona even after learning the truth because it was definitely a half-hearted attempt from Sona but at the end of the day it was a misunderstanding.Ish also had a misunderstanding since she was unaware that Sona had come with Soha.If he could instantly forgive Ish owing to the MU,then why couldn't he mellow down towards the mother of his own child ? It was definitely not because Soha called him Mr.Dixit because he had already behaved rudely towards Sona before that 'Mr.Dixit turning into Papa' track started.
I request please do reply if anyone has a valid and reasonable justification for this.I know I'm asking this very late but as long as I don't find an answer it would be very difficult for me to enjoy the present story.
Please do reply.

Hi this my replay on the, current dynamics of dev and ishu in s2. I think at the end of s1 dev has detached himself from ishu and this was not a one day process. Due to prenup the god image of ishu get shattered and she become, the fllowed human to dev. He was bleaming ishu and, sona for his pain but over the period of time when every time she put the entire bleam on the sona and dev he get more and more disconnected from her. So in fb where for the first time they brought golu home I feel still he was connected with her. But over the period of time due to unchanged behaviour he just focus on his responsibility. Now after the soha's entry the moment he come to know soha is his daughter he becomes soha's dad and ishu becomes, soha's dadi. This is different when he share the news of soha he was telling this to soha's dadi and as soha's father which is different and that difference is clear to ishu also that why when she goes to Bose house she openly accects that dev is away from her because of sona. I think. She knows she has lost his, son long back and the dev is infrount of her is a father and he is aware, of ishu's right on soha as a dadi
Why I am saying this because when ever they interact with each other there base point is soha. Its, like soha's dadi is, talking with soha's, father that's, why dev announced that he and sona, will together for soha initaly she try to talk to her son but in middle she understand that she, is, not able to connect dev as a mother she try to communicate, as, soha's dadi and talk about her zidda and, at one point she understand, she is not having any control on his dicision so she, just try to accect it.
As, there is, no other, option at this, point. She will definitely try to use the soha, by becoming that's, why she want soha should become dixit by which she can get dev back. This is my view.

By the way, AP means Advanced Placement (college level courses). I am in Highschool. Sorry I was unclear. :)

Congratulations to everyone for the new thread 😳😊

The discussion in the previous pages is really interesting. And the show is becoming interesting with each week.👍🏼

I, however, had a doubt and hope somebody offers a valid explanation for this. (Sorry, for diverting from the topic of discussion.)

I feel Ex-GKB should be happy that Dev is going away from Ishwari Niwas for Bose house, as in the house would be all to herself and slowly she would evict Ishwari too from the house. Why is she instigating Ishwari in the opposite direction? Why is she not finding ways so that Dev stays in Bose house forever and never comes back? In fact, I assume if she asked Dev all his property in return of happily living with Suhana, he would happily oblige. Can anyone throw light on where she is going with her conspiracies?

I remember, during the first break-up, Mamaji had told Dev that he too had fallen in love with a girl but couldn't marry her due to family pressure. He is still paying the price for his mistake. Does that explain his neglect of Vicky? As in he is more fatherly towards Dev than Vicky, any child would feel unloved if he is told that he is 'nalayak' day and night. Does this also explain Ex-GKB's dislike of Sona, in particular? because Dev loved her? Maybe Ex-GKB also felt that her husband doesn't love her so much, is only compromising.

Please throw some light on this aspect of the story...

PS: I just remembered the famous dialogue 'Mere husband mujhse pyaar nhi karte'...😆😆

I agree we get the expected effect which ishu use to achieve but still I will not called it as, manipulation or selfishess because according to soha her mother and father are happy with each other but they don't want to come together so they all 3 can be happy.

DQ, I felt the idea of Soha saying that she wants her mumma papa to live together and not being happy as the chula drama. But the actual act of going to Kolkata in the car with Bijoy was actually like the pills overdoes. In pills overdose, Ishwari was not able to accept Dev -- Sonakshi's decision, but also was not able to reject the idea completely as she could not tell the truth.

Similarly when Sonakshi took the promise from Soha, Soha agreed to not force Dev and Sonakshi to live together, but at the same time she could not accept that her wish would not happen. If Ishwari took extra pills to avoid talking to Dev or answering his questions, Soha decided to move to Kolkata to avoid meeting her parents separately and be happy with that. 😊

okay... yes.. agreed... The whole thing had the "pills" undertones.. "I really want to be happy in your happiness but I dont know how to face it.. so I will just duck"
I think we spoke about this in the last thread
