Our secret
“They’re beautiful, thank you George” compliments Prerna whilst fastening her dressing gown as she steps into the room out from her shower.
George was arranging a vase of Colourful summer flowers at the window of her bedroom. A mix of all the flowers she adored.
“They’re From mr Bajaj, he had me pick all the ones you like” replies George with a smile.
“Hmm..and How would he know which ones I like the best?” smiled Prerna surprised this would be her husbands doing.
“Oh he knows” replies George looking over at her under his half moon glasses.
“He also knows how you like your morning tea and toast and how you need two doses of medication and the fluffiest cushion in the house that bad back of yours!”
George had made Prerna chuckle.
How could she not oblige to such affection delivered by the cutest gentleman in the world. Perching at her bed Prerna looked upon her breakfast . As she moved to reach for the tea pot George was quick to do the honours.
“Allow me ma’am” he says in his English accent. Not only did George pour her tea but he slipped a cushion behind her back too
“Thank you George” smiled Prerna.
..
Mr Bajaj had done everything to make sure Prerna felt cared for after this mornings events, she felt both relieved as well as silly.
As she walked into the lounge she pondered on what her first words ought to be to her husband but the going’s on meant she need no longer worry.
Mr Bajaj was overseeing the placement of a second armchair beside his.
Prerna knew why he’d done so. He hated the idea of her self inflicting more pain.
“It’s Nice” says Prerna as she walks beside Mr Bajaj to look upon the new piece of furniture.
“I’m glad you like it, it’s yours” replies Rishabh looking down to his side.
His eyes suggesting she try the chair and Prerna takes a seat
“How does it feel?”
“Comfortable” she replies later adding
“Lekin” and soon as Prerna introduced the lekin Rishabhs eyes became that little more serious. She got the feel he wasn’t going to tolerate any objections.
Prerna didn’t have to say anything, the look in her eyes told Rishabh she was about to make excuses but she too had her ways.
A way with words that said something very different to what she carried in her eyes.
“I’d rather it be elsewhere” she said to his surprise.
“Hmm?” He crossed his arms waiting for her to finish.
“Somewhere a little quieter Jaha aap hame Dundh sako aur koi nahin - our secret? ”
And he’d fallen for it, with a smile did he agree knowing very well in his mind that Prerna had got her way.
“Very well”
“No more carelessness!” he said firmly walking towards Prerna in her chair and kissing her upon the forehead.
..

So much satisfying to see Rishabh catering to Prerna's emotional needs, along with physical....a wife needs that more than anything else, totally relatable....and for the life of me I can't recall any place in their home that can serve the purpose of a "secret" hideout for Prerna....so will be waiting for you to enlighten me in the next moment 😁..TC❤️
