War 2: Has Jr NTR's casting already brought big money to Hrithik Roshan, Kiara Advani starrer?

War 2, is one of the most hyped films of 2025. It is coming on the Independence Day weekend keeping with the patriotic mood of the country. It stars Hrithik Roshan, Jr NTR and Kiara Advani in main roles. The teaser got a great response from the Telugu exhibition and distribution circles as per a report in Pinkvilla. It seems YRF has got Non-Refundable Advance aka Minimum Guarantee offers from top distribution firms like Mythri Movie Makers, Sri Venkateshwara Creations, Sithara Entertainment, and Asian Cinema.

“The bids for War 2 is in the range of Rs 90 crore to Rs 110 crore, making it a film in demand. YRF is currently evaluating multiple aggressive Non-Refundable Advance (NRA) bids, and leading from the front at the moment is Asian Cinemas, who has made a staggering offer of Rs 100 crore for Telugu states for the Hindi and Telugu dubbed version.”

It seems Sithara Entertainment is just behind Asian Cinemas having made a bid of Rs 80 crores. This is a record for a Hindi movie dubbed in Telugu overtaking the record of Yash’s KGF 2. It had made Rs 80 crores from distributors before its release.

It seems even Kannada exhibitors and distributors are keen on War 2. Top firms like KVN Productions and Hombale Films are keen to buy the rights to distribute the film in Karnataka. There is a huge buzz due to presence of Jr. NTR, and Hrithik Roshan also has an established fan base.

The buzz for the film has created a sense of excitement in trade pundits. It is the biggest Pan-India movie of 2025. It remains to be seen if YRF agrees to sell the distribution rights for such huge sums. The company has a history of always distributing its own films rather than rely on outsiders.

Despite mixed reviews, Jr NTR's Devara made money in most South territories. He is coming off two big hits, Devara and RRR.
