'War 2' hits a big JACKPOT before release: Hrithik Roshan & Jr. NTR re-write pre-release records!

The countdown has begun for one of 2025’s most awaited big-screen events — War 2, starring Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR. With its release set just ahead of Independence Day, the film has already started turning heads, not for its action-packed narrative but for the business it has done before even hitting theatres.

Sources in the film trade reveal that the Telugu-language rights of War 2 have been sold for an impressive sum. The rights were acquired by prominent producers in the South, and the numbers being discussed are in the range of Rs 85–100 crore. This deal signals high expectations from the Telugu-speaking audience, largely driven by Jr NTR's involvement. His massive following in the region has added weight to the film’s pre-release value.

The spy-action thriller will see Hrithik Roshan return to the role of Kabir, while Jr NTR is expected to portray a role that challenges him. Though plot specifics are still under wraps, insiders suggest that the story will expand the larger spy universe being built by the production house. Kiara Advani plays the female lead in the film.
