Desis and their obsession with marriage is next level. Actress Zareen Khan who is now 38 has made a video shading this ideology that marriage can fix everything. She said she gets a number of comments on Instagram and one caught her notice. A man told her to marry as she was getting old. Zareen Khan said she did not understand why people felt that marriage was the ultimate goal of life. The actress said she wanted to understand if only Indians felt this way, or was it a general thought across all global communities.

Zareen Khan said that a quick marriage would not make her younger or reverse her age. She also said that it was not a solution to cope up with personal struggles. Zareen said that people should be able to stand up firm on their feet, and solve problems before dreaming of a future together. Moreover, she said that marriages did not last nowadays. She said she saw couples around her whose marriages ended in just three months.

Some of the netizens told her to get married to Salman Khan. As we know, she debuted with him in Veer. The songs of the movie were quite a rage. There was talk of how she got chosen as she looked a lot like Katrina Kaif.

Zareen Khan was seeing former Bigg Boss contestant Shivashish Mishra for three years. They broke up in 2024 and unfollowed one another on Instagram. He has not deleted her pics from his handle though. It seems the breakup was mutual. Before that, she did not date any one.
