Actor Varun Dhawan recently shared his thoughts after watching Saiyaara, praising debutants Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, and calling Mohit Suri’s directorial one of his best works. In his Instagram story, Varun wrote, “Very rarely you feel hung over after watching a film. The film has stayed with me and I’m sure it will with all of us for years to come. @mohitsuri ur best ur a star.” He added personal praise for both lead actors, saying, “@ahaanpandayy what can I say ur so so good and so honest. Karan Johar, in a post, called Saiyaara a return of the classic love story to Indian cinema, noting that it brought “tears and immense joy.” He also praised how the film captured romance in a way that reminded people why they loved going to the movies.

Alia Bhatt echoed similar sentiments in her story. She wrote, “I don’t remember the last time I looked at two actors with such awe. You both shine with such individuality, such honesty — I could watch you again, and again, and again.”
