Akshay Kumar confirms 'Hera Pheri 3 is back on tracks: "Nahi, yeh publicity stunt nahi hai"

The confusion is over, and the wait is (almost) done! After months of swirling rumours, cast reshuffles, and endless fan speculation, Akshay Kumar has officially confirmed that Hera Pheri 3 is back on track and yes, with the original trio intact.

In a recent candid conversation on The Right Angle with Sonal Kalra (Season 2), Akshay addressed all the noise around the film. “Nahi, yeh publicity stunt nahi hai,” he said firmly. Explaining the delay, he added, “The things went legal, so when legal things are involved, we cannot call it a publicity stunt; it is a real thing. But ab sab kuch thik ho gaya hai. We are back together.”

This statement comes as a huge relief to fans of the iconic comedy series that began its journey in the early 2000s and quickly became a pop-culture phenomenon. The previous months had seen numerous conflicting reports, from creative disagreements to contractual complications — with many even fearing that the franchise might never return in its original flavour.
