THREAD TWO

(ArHi Tales: Season Two)

Wow.

I find it very hard to believe that we are on Thread Two after just one Tale.

And it is all due to the love and support of you, our wonderful readers!

Thank you for your patience, and thank you for staying with us through all the delays.

We hope that you will enjoy this journey with us!

For everyone who is joining us now, here is an introduction to what awaits you...

The Tales:

These stories are one or two-shots that will be based on Arnav and Khushi, and a happy ending is guaranteed, hamesha.

Like Dhadkanein, these stories will be set in an alternate universe as well.

But this time, there is a twist.

Instead of including only our versions of scenes from IPKKND, we will also rework scenes from other TV shows/ Books/ Movies...literally anything that catches our fancy on a particular day.

In other words, the tale might include a scene from IPKKND, or it may not.

Semanti and I are very excited about this, and we hope that you are too!

The updates:

This is the part where I feel the need to apologize beforehand.

Semanti and I have always prided ourselves on being regular with our updates, but we just cannot make that commitment this time.

Semanti is also writing another series as well as a full length FF, and my asli duniya is still very busy. Despite all this, we just couldn't resist coming back to the Tales!

What this means for you is that the updates will not be posted on a fixed schedule like the last time.

The best we can do is promise to give you one Tale a week.

I do hope that works!

The Update Alerts:

I send out PMs every time I update, while Semanti emails her readers.

So if you are a new reader, please add me to your buddy list, and send her a PM with your Email ID for update alerts.

I also tweet everyone whenever an update is posted here, so that's yet another way you can keep track.

Just follow me on Twitter @patronus31.

An Important Note: We send out alerts irrespective of whether you choose to silently read/ Like/ Comment on these stories. It is your prerogative to do any of those, and we respect that!

Also, if you do choose to comment, please feel free to do so with criticism/ feedback of any kind.

The first tale in this series has been posted, and I am the writer for that one.

Also, do let us know what you think of the concept.

Excerpt from 'A Masked Tale', to be posted late Sunday, IST.

For the first time in hours, she saw him.

The real man, the one who had taken over her senses...her very existence.

The masks were off, the pretense had ended...until all that remained was him.

And her.

A man and a woman who were bound by something rare...something inexplicable.

She gazed at him in the flickering light, her awareness captured by his presence, just like it had always been.

What she didn't know was that his awareness was focused on her too, even though he seemed to navigate his way through the dark streets with little difficulty.

"I can feel your eyes on me."

The husky timber of his voice sent shivers down her spine, and she smiled even as the temperature inside the car seemed to soar by several degrees.

"It's hard to keep myself from looking."

The faintest hint of a smile curved his lips at her response, and she clenched her hands in the material of her dress, helpless against the sudden tide of desire that swept over her.

"Why would you want to stop?"

"I don't want the world to know about my infatuation."

He still didn't look at her, but she felt the abrupt change of direction as he swerved to the side of the road and pulled the car to a sudden stop.

When the molten brown gaze finally landed on her, she felt as if her heart had stopped beating.

"The world can go to hell, for all I care."

New tale, new thread. Main marjaawan. You guys are so awesome, this has got to be a record! 😃

Despite there being no set schedule for posting the Tales, we're immensely touched and flattered at the continued interest you all have expressed. You don't know how much we love reading your comments, encouragement, spam posts, and wild speculations! 😆

THANK YOU, is all.

Now spam Expel all you like until she posts the next Tale. I know what I'm writing about after that, so look out for a note sometime next week, after she posts 'A Masked Tale' tomorrow.
