This Tale was just so different from your other work, frankly it had me stumped when I tried to write a comment earlier.
There was so much I liked here, but I don't know if I can get my point across.
Let me try, though!
First, thank you, thank you, thank you for giving us a Khushi with a spine.
And the will to go after what she wants, and get out of a relationship that is going nowhere.
Now I see what you meant by 'exorcising old demons'!
This is true nayi soch. Bas.
Also, this is probably going to sound weird but thank you again for giving us an Akash with a personality!
A vain fool with an inflated sense of self-importance, but a character in his own right nonetheless!
Arnav was just beyond adorable.
And this dialogue was by far my favorite:
"You never got it, did you Akash? I'm not special. Neither are you. She however, is."
Yes, Khushi was special. Too bad the show didn't really seem to know that!
I loved the use of flashbacks, the story on the whole was well-written.
And it was so very real, and grown-up. 😆
At the end, I was so glad that Khushi found love. Not just because it was Arnav, but also because she deserved it after that disastrous relationship with ASR.
Your inspiration made sense too, not that I would have guessed that in a million years!
You had me fooled with the excerpt, and I just laughed out loud when I read the "Akash Singh Raizada' bit. But then I remembered your status clues and marveled at how everything came together in one , brilliant tale!
