Brilliant Juhi...just brilliant! All I can say that the wait was worth it! (As also the series of wrong conjectures made by me😆)
Back to the story. you do have a knack of reverting soemthing that has left a bitter/sour/salty taste in the mouth by giving the particular scene a complete make over. Of course Khwahishein is all about it but this one is special because it was a part of the Sheetal track🤢 After reading this tale however I'm glad that there was one such track for we wouldn't have had this story had that not existed.
I'm a sucker for suspense so you can imagien the adrenaline flowing through me as you opened the scene giving several bumps; first through the real peon and then through the entry of Dr. Jha and the uniformed policeman. All the while me heart went...
DHAK DHAK...DHAK DHAK...
I must admit though that the sudden appearance of a uniformed personnel was unexpected and fishy as well and yours truly had immediately guessed what this was all about. But it only heightened the eagernss to go along with the facade that the two were projecting.
And facade it was...not just when it came to the rest of the world but also for their boss...this one was entirely different yet it somehow reminded me of Mr. and Mrs. Smith...two sleuths there were but working hand in hand makes it all the more fun, doesn't it?
That they got the required evidence, did their job and ended the day on a high couldn't have been completed if it had not been for the end parts of the tale. A ready admission of infatuation was a first I have read...blatant yet equally endearing I must say!
To carve a tale that keeps you entertained throughout itself is extremely commendable but then to culminate it with a zenith? That's what can be called as a perfect exemplification of a masterstroke👏
A
And a grin was placed on my face involuntarily (I'm hoping that's how the letter looked on Khushi's ankle..if only IF permitted usage of calligraphy...sigh)
