OHMYGOD OHMYGOD OHMYGOD!

I have been waiting for you all afternoon and boy has it been worth it!

You know what I liked the most? Their realization that they'd both been in the wrong, that they'd rushed into marriage without really understanding each other, that it takes both sides to make a marriage work, and that despite everything that's gone wrong between them-- they still need each other.

And the shoot by the river? HOT DAMN! That was so effortlessly Bollywood. And I have to say, it was honestly so much more sensual than the original sequence. Thank god you don't have crazy SP nuns after you.

What an incredible interpretation of the whole nafrat paas aane na de, mohabbat door jaane na de thing. And as Lavanya said, love is so much stronger than hatred.

Arnav's anguish when he held a dying Khushi in his arms was terrifying because it gave me a they-wanted-to-kill-Arnav flashback.

And the dialogues? So signature IPKKND! I can't even. I would QUOTE you if these dialogues were canon. (I have a feeling I'll be doing it either way)

But I come back to Arnav and Khushi's relationship again and again. The exploration of their insecurities, doubts, hurt, inability to communicate, little gestures, quiet concern for one another-- every nuance was so beautiful and so real. Marriage is so much more than explosive chemistry and attraction. Love has so many shades and facets and that's what you've covered so beautifully here.

And their final decision to meet in the middle and try and make it work because staying away from each other is much worse was beautiful.

I love love LOVE this one J-- one of your best for sure.

I'll probably come back and add to this as I think of other things. But for now, ILYD!

Now coming to the story! What a wonderful arc! It really does make you feel all warm and gooey inside when a good storyline, great characters are executed so well. And the journey that they had in such small time, in one way, but also had been on for 8 months now, is truly fascinating.

I love love love the use of scenes here! I know I am closing the loops, but you are too! In AU, but nonetheless, they give me closure for some of the most brilliant scenes, and thank you for that!

They danced on the edge, but they sure did fall, eh?

I mean, fall in love! All over again! :P

Also...kinda wanted them to do this during the dance...you didn't write, but I imagined it anyway! ;)

Loved it, J! Can't wait for the next tale!

Ah the classic clash of individual existence; one that is very common in scenarios of showbiz wherein the fourth wall is always reserved for the camera. This one not only showed a Khushi being stifled but also one who acted on it, in a way that could be considered as ground breaking for women in these cases are generally known to accept their role as a submissive person.

You have beautifully delineated Arnav over here, it kinda makes me feel how Arnav would have been had IPK been a show on the backdrop of the film industry. The taking for granted attitude, superstar persona, a highly volatile ego. If last part was all about the song and the dreamy sequence, this one was more earthy...

It was a good twist when Khushi began thinking differently about her selection and Arnav's role in it. It was expected of her to rile and rant at him but then you proved the 'Two sides to a coin' pithy😊

And the 'Tum khush ho' couldn't have been any more heartbreaking, followed by an equally rousing 'are you?'

I was wrong to assume that nothing could be at par with the edge dancing...the sway through the Colorado river was equally affective.

There couldn't have been a better realization for Arnav than the death scene but what was more impelling was the way he forgot his lines...professionalism blurred when it was a personal matter and then the metaphor of the bridge was just too beautiful.

Juhi...why do you do this? The last chapter had been rallying, the death scene was heartrending but the ultimate 'felt in the gut' scene had to be 'meet me in the middle'

Teri Meri remains my most favorite scene (it cannot be called as a scene of course, but I cherish it a lot) and its interpretation in the form of this tale just makes this tale my personal favorite.

P.S. To teri meri...the dance sequence from IPK that crossed over a million hits...just ebcause it deserved to.😳
