I dont know if it just me, par I have grown up reading many of "new" chick lits where girls aren't the most perfect looking, whereas the boys are like the PERFECTest creatures to have graced the surface of this earth and yet they end up getting together and its all hunky dory. Which has made me scoff a million times over. I honestly cannot relate to that far fetched style of story-telling.

So it amazes me how completely I fell for this story..even more than Khushi fell in the tale of falling in love.

It is only because of the S factor: quirk, those painting moments, writing style, the setting and most importantly the male protagnist perspective. Also a little because this is about A+K and ipk..where khushi being pretty (even if not wearing the most sophasticated clothes) has been an integral part of the story (no matter how much we all compare her to not having the 'model' good looks of Lavanya).And also cause I know you so?

Knowing the prime numbers, not because u are a ratu-master (like luna here) but u are just THAT freaking smart. Khushi sitting at the Arabian sea was the painting moment..beautiful. The transition from past to present was perfect. The numbers and words complimenting each other much like constants and variables. I Faraq'd the paragragh..."Her famed pragmatism...to...unconditional love from the one she loved." Thats what made her real, just like most of us out there, even if I couldnt possibly relate to her IQ level. You really do write the khushi talking to herself just perfectly...right from WAUFMAIO, I am telling you, watch OFFSPRING (you will love it...yes here I go on my tangent!!). I love how substantial, consequential, progressive and subtly non one-sided each of their encounters sound..I already assumed they were into each other, without even thinking about the physical beauty clause ya? I like their characters here a lot, their individuality, their beliefs, their humour..and how unique and defined they are. I like how you brought in her "girl next doorness" to this story..its not like in your face Fat, or ugly, subtle and real. Your if only's reminded me of expelji!! I loved the unromantic and ugly tears, who the f cries beautifully? The arnav here was just perfect..see he also thought they were in some sort of relationship, like it was going somewhere..what with all that he remembers about her. I like the tussle of pushing her face away and him trying to talk to her..that is a glimpse of the couple we know. Then the award winning explanation of why ASR loves KKG. This was the icing that made this cake so so special. I loved the Khushi bit, because I am farqing cheesy that way, bas.

I thought the scene you were referring to was the one where he teases her about all the million gf's he had..and she hits him and cries or something like that and then he is like but I have only ever loved you. Par obviously I was wrong. I like the scene that inspired you..so inconsequential..just like last time..yet so essential to the story.

ps. I consciously try to stay away from overusing "I love" and yet by the time I am done that is perhaps the only thing that sticks out..so remember I mean it the "make love not war" context, I promise!

that was amazingly a awesome concept semanti...i so loved it...first, i like ur way of describing things,,,,scenarios,,,places,,,atmosphere,,,,people,,,,,it feels like one is there at the very moment,,,ur style of writing fantasize me a lot...and hell,,,i cant stop myself from reding it so many times...yup...i am late at unresing but that coz i am unable to find the best words to decribe ur tale...the words...u play with words and i loved it...i truly love your style of writing,,,and u rock,,,!!!!😊

Wow seemanti you have some magic girl

I loved the way you have turned this simple tale to a magical one.

A tale of everyone finding that hameshawala forever wala love irrespective of how you look, how funny you are, how popular you are etc etc.

Cause its true, not all of us are Sanaya here and we all have all the days that you mentioned in that awesome note...but still we deserve and need that love from someone very special who will make us feel special and out of this world.

I love this khushi with her glasses, with her math jokes, with her not so perfect figure and everything what a majority of us represent...

And don't get me started on this Mr. Perfect Singh Raizada no i am not talking about his good looks (though it does help 😆) but about his mannerism, his care, his thoughtfulness and the way he assures khushi of his love for her.

I loved the way he whispers "You're counting prime numbers again" that was so cute. This and basically lots more but i think i will have to do a cut, copy and paste of most of your update...

So i leave by telling you thank you for this wonderful simple tale told with lot panache...

Good job girl. You are really awesome and i know you must have heard it enough and more...

Expelenti you girls are simply the best and i hope these tales continue for a long time and inspire us.

Okay I wrote that late at night and half asleep.

I think someone said you really get Khushi. And you do. You get the essence of the person she is. She is still quirky. still smart (frighteningly so) and still insecure. I know you set this story on the date night sequence. Since to me that date night had a different significance - I didn't quite relate this story to that - and I was really wondering which scene you were referring to here! Until the end where he says he fell in love with her as she is. That's when I got it. d-oh!
