Without her will, her legs went up and down slowly while she stared out at the night sky through the gaps of the curtain, still feeling the touch of his hand on hers from the moment earlier
While her reaction was more subtle, arjun once in his room was still amazed by what had happened. Her closeness had blown his mind off, if there was no need to pull away he could have sat there all night just looking at her. He wanted to be near her now more than before, he had to be content by sipping the water again from her glass. That made him smile, he used to laugh it off before but now he himself found it more sweeter.
He laid down with both hands clasped behind his neck. He has to let her know how he feels soon , he did not want to wait for long and be far from her. He turned around , hugged a pillow and went to sleep.
Next morning when arohi woke up she was glad arjun wasn't down yet and only raashi was there, after a while she called bua again. This time she made her put it on speaker and once guddi heard arohi's voice her resolve of not talking to her broke. Silent tears flowing down her cheeks she just kept asking arohi to come back . Arohi had tears and quickly went inside the room, since both jignesh and raashi were there. She coaxed guddi to eat something, and told her she will be back soon and will bring her lot of pretty things. She made bua feed guddi bfast while she was still on phone. She told her aunt , if this is hurting guddi so much she will be back tmrw itself nothing else matter. Her aunt consoled her and told her to wait for somemore time, if guddi still refuses to eat and continues her tantrums she can come back, for now she is able to control her. Arohi thanked her aunt , spoke for a while and choked while saying bye.
Arjun who had by then come down and coming through the kitchen from in front of her door heard her choking voice and his heart ached. He wanted to see her come out and see if she was okay now. Arohi took full 15 mins to come out, when she came out she was looking normal, if he hadnot heard her choking voice he wouldnot have known she cried. He wanted to hold her , since yesterday it was hard for him to control his feelings and to hold back what he felt. And that was going to show soon in his actions which was going to make arohi to give in slowly.
They took arohi out for lunch showed her nearby places. Jignesh excused himself to meet some friends and raashi wanted to go to her fav shopping mall and arjun had to skip that , so he could not get time alone with arohi whole of the morning. Raashi could not leave arohi alone either since aro wanted to be with her and do some shopping for guddi. Finally they reached home tired, after dinner. Arjun felt like smacking raashi on her head for her addiction to shopping. Next time she is not going to come with us, he decided to himself. Raashi made sure arohi has all their cell nos. and told her she will take her to the workshop and pick her up.
It was the first day at the workshop , raashi had just dropped her off and arohi found herself getting acquainted with her peers. Many teachers and trainers who worked for special schools had come to the workshop. She was amazed to see the vast area of art that she had not been able to explore till now, she knew that colours reflected the mood and that it is the best way to depict a person's idea or thoughts , but the depth in which it was being thought here was worth all the trouble.
For next two days it continued with less interaction between arjun and arohi. eventhough she came early by mid afternoon , he got busy with the meetings and the work rudra had assigned to him and came home practically late night. Arohi did not realize that she was missing him even when she expected it to be arjun whenever someone called raashi or whenever she heard the door click. At nights though she still had difficulty sleeping since the memory of the other night kept coming back to her, she was not able to erase the image of the way he had looked at her. Arjun on other hand was missing her terribly, her pics in his laptop was a solace.
During these two days there was another surprising fact that arohi learnt. It was when she and rashi bumped into the sinha's near the gate. And it was mentioned 'that they were really nice' upstairs in the home jignesh commented saying 'ofcourse they will be nice , they have to be, after all we are letting them stay in our property, I mean dad is letting them stay. They loose in business and we have to forgo two floors' raashi sushed him by saying 'its no big deal , we got enough room, so what dad let them stay, they are his friends and it is okay to help friends' 'whatever' replied her hubby. Arohi was impressed at how none of the singhania's had mentioned this earlier.
On the third day while still in workshop, she got a call from raashi, she said that she is stuck in her friend's house and will try to be there to pick her up on time, if she doesn't she will ask arjun to pick her up. Arohi had no other option , the travel by any other means was written off by both brother and sister on the first day itself even after she insisted she will be fine, they made sure she agrees to wait for them no matter what. So she waited in the reception. And heard footsteps and immediately recognized that to be arjun. 'sorry I am late, shall we go' he said. For past 2 days she had seeing him only for a few minutes and today finding him there she felt happy. Together they walked out and she could not help but notice a red and black Yamaha, taking another look at it she could not help but wonder how it would feel to go on a drive on that while the breeze is hitting the face. She started go to the gate expecting the car to be parked outside. 'Arohi , this way' arjun called out to her.
