Mom to be Deepika Padukone keeps it casual in denim look as she returns to Mumbai from Cape Town

Actor Deepika Padukone returned to Mumbai on Thursday after completing a shooting schedule in Cape Town for Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming film King. The airport spotting marked her first public appearance since announcing her second pregnancy with husband Ranveer Singh.

Deepika was photographed at the Mumbai airport in a relaxed denim outfit featuring an oversized shirt and matching pants. She paired the look with flats, sunglasses and a handbag. Videos from the airport quickly surfaced online, showing the actor smiling at photographers before leaving for her car. Several social media users also discussed her visible pregnancy glow in the viral clips.

The actor had reportedly been filming with Shah Rukh Khan in Cape Town over the past few weeks for King. Although the makers have kept the film’s details tightly guarded, leaked behind the scenes visuals from the South African schedule have been circulating widely online.

Some of the clips appear to show Shah Rukh and Deepika shooting a romantic sequence near the sea, with dancers and large set arrangements visible in the background. However, another moment from the leaked footage caught fans’ attention for a different reason.

In one of the videos, a man carrying a baby can briefly be spotted behind the shoot location. This led to speculation online that Ranveer Singh and the couple’s daughter Dua may have accompanied Deepika during the filming schedule. There has been no official confirmation from the actors regarding the claims.

Earlier reports had suggested that Ranveer has been prioritising family life after Dua’s birth. While Deepika continued work commitments overseas, reports claimed Ranveer spent significant time caring for their daughter alongside managing his own projects following the success of the Dhurandhar franchise.

Meanwhile, King will reunite Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone on screen after films including Om Shanti Om, Chennai Express, Happy New Year, Pathaan and Jawan. The film also reportedly stars Suhana Khan, Abhishek Bachchan and Rani Mukerji. It is expected to release during Christmas 2026.
