aww so beautifuuly written. 👏👏 i love the feeling arjun has right now he is finding it hard to stay away from arohi which is great the more time he tries to spend with her will help make her realise her feelings for him.

Part 13 :

As beautiful as her , he thought looking at the sky, 'arohi .. this is what I wanted to show you, sunset over the sea' he said. Arohi was in a world she always tried to avoid and stay away, and she liked it , the sunset was beautiful , the breeze, the ride and even his intention of showing her all this.

When they reached the home, both of them were happy and it reflected in their eyes, they would have taken the stair if mr. Sinha wasn't standing there smoking talking over phone. Arjun quickly made way to the elevator and both stepped in and he pinned in the key. arjun was standing in the center with arms folded across his chest, arohi had got in and was stading behind him. He turned slightly back gave her a smile and turned again, that is when the lift stopped with a jerk causing arohi's to fall forward, arjun staying had his long hand already holding the elevator door for support while arohi hit his back and held onto his tee shirt, he turned slightly and with the other arm held her by the waist pulling her straight up and make her stand, all happening as body reflexes within seconds. He could feel the softness of her waist underneath the soft material of her dress. Arohi had closed her eyes shut with the already loose hair from the ride falling on her face. As arjun looked down at her he slowly brought her more close holding her by the waist. His warm breath blew few strands of her hair, for some reason arohi was still clutching his shirt and shut her eyes. When she felt his hands on her waist she quickly moved away and he was about to take his hand off when the lift started again with a jerk. His hand came firm on her waist again, as he steadied himself and her with his foot firm on the floor , this time arohi who had already taken her hands off his shirt put it acroos his stretched arm causing a much closer hug, he could not help but bring his hand that was against the elevator door over her shoulders , just as he was about to hold her she moved away. She ran her hands through the loose hair and straightened her dress and dupatta and stood 2 feet away from him, her cheeks were burning with embarrassment and had become red. Arjun was in trance, he had been close to women before, he had held women in arms while dancing at formal parties, but never had it made the blood rush to his brain. 'sorry' both said together composing.

'the power went off and came back, it happens sometimes' he said as the elevator opened to the apartments front door. She quickly stepped out .

When they both went in raashi was already home and was setting up dinner. 'where had you been' she asked arjun, arohi quickly greeted her and went in to get changed. Arjun just smiled at his sister and collapsed on the couch, chking his messages. Raashi could tell looking at his face that he had been through the best time of his life. Arohi came out changed and started helping raashi, she could hardly look at arjun now, the ride had made her feel comfortable with him , but the elevator incident had caused an awkwardness in her, she was neither able to hate the moment nor like it. But she could still feel his touch and closeness.

They all had dinner trying to act normal, the food was tasty and while arohi was appreciating all the dishes, arjun as usual was teasing his sister picking out some reason or other, arohi was amused to see this childlike fights between them both.

After a while when they were in their rooms, both arjun and arohi were back to the moment. Arohi tried to forget about it and called her bua to chek on guddi.

While arjun's state was different as he remembered holding her so close. He had felt an urge to kiss her, hold her, stroke her all at once and it had made a serious impact on his body. And all this had happened in abt a minute. If this was the effect for a minute of closeness he couldnot imagine what would happen if they got together. She was as soft in the body as she was at heart. He groaned thinking why it has to be so difficult. He came down the stairs to get a book from his dad's room so that he can read to sleep.

When he came down he saw arohi sitting on the couch talking to her bua. She had walked out of her room talking. He heard her choke over a 'bye'. He went over and sat next to her . She did not move, she just sat there looking down at the phone as tears were filling her eyes. As one drop fell on the phone she got up and was about to leave when he said 'arohi wait '.. sit down please '. pleeease' his voice made her sit down and wiped off a tear, there was no point in hiding it now since he had seen it already.

'everything allright?" he asked . 'yes' she said with a sniff, 'then why do I see ur tears' 'I am just missing guddi' 'how is she?' 'she is fine' 'but the way u ended did not look like she is fine' 'she has these regular tantrums at nights sometimes if things don't happen as per her way' 'hmmm so you try to keep her calm how? By doing as she wants?' she was puzzeled 'no..not always , sometimes yes but I do say no to things' 'and that makes her cranky?' 'yeah .. then she is fine after a while .. it is fine' 'have you ever been away from her?' that was when her eyes filled up again 'no' she said 'and I don't want to go away ever again .. this was huge mistake' he could feel the pain in her voice as well, if he could he would fly and get guddi right now and put her next to arohi , if only he could. 'never been away?' 'no not since my parents'' he knew her parents were no more and it hurt him that because of his question she had to remember all that. 'things don't stay the same always , arohi '. Sometimes we should change as things change' 'it is not that easy' 'I know it is not. But anything first time is hard but we get used to it as time goes on' 'I hope so' 'can I ask you something' he asked in a low voice. She wiped the tear that was going to fall down with the back of her hand and said 'yes' , she had no idea why she was opening up to him but she was feeling consoled.

'arohi , I am business man and I securing things in life'. Arohi was still quiet. 'now about guddi '' and continued what he wanted to say 'let me put it this way and don't hate me after I am done, I want you to look at it with practical point '. Wait' he said and got up to get them both some coffee he handed her the mug and sat next to her again, arohi was now feeling little better and was ready to listen what he wanted to say .

'I foresee where something or someone will be over the years and what the scenario will be like, I protect and make sure my assets, my loved ones are safe and sound even if I am not around' the coffee was soothing but she had no idea what he was talking about.

' now about guddi , what have you thought about her future' 'me ,,, I am there for her all through her future' 'how can you be so sure, don't get me wrong here, you have to think of all possible ways where you might not be there for her and then who will take care of her and where she will be' this was making no sense to her, why all of a sudden he was talking about her being there or not. 'as long as I am alive I am going to take care of her' 'exactly my point arohi, me as long as I am alive will take care of things about my loved ones but after that what I plan and secure now will take care of them' it was disturbing for her to even think that way 'that is why I said think practical, I see you distressed for being away from home for 2 weeks and I can imagine what your sister is going through too, but this distance is needed to make you both tough and think about other instances where you might not be there for her and then how she will live' he continued 'sorry I did not mean to bring up this topic but I want to you make sure your sister will be safe and sound evern when u or anyone of us are not there that is what foreseeing and securing means ' well to the practical person in me , means' 'I understand and I see you point, I run a school , I have a house but if me or my aunt are not there then who will take care of my sister , and for that matter any child or any dependable person' 'my point exactly' he said finishing the coffee. She was in deep thoughts now. 'I don't know any solution for that' she said 'think arohi, if you can come up with running a school, you will come up with another great one and you have a beautiful mind just like you' She too was done with her coffee.

They both would have sat there and talked all night, if her glance did not fall on the clock, 'oh it is late already, good night arjun' she said 'goodnight' he said leaning back on the couch watching her go to her room. When he saw her crying all he wanted to do was hold her, she was already emotional and more emotional talk would have made it worse. He would never want to separate arohi from guddi and she is like raashi to him, he will do whatever it takes to make it a complete family , if arohi agrees,, If she agrees then he can be part of their lives. if guddi is arohi's responsibility then she is his responsibility too, he will take care of her as much as arohi does. But he chose to put practicality into picture and make her think that there can be situations where she has to be away from her sister and guddi has to be on her own. Atleast she will now not cry but put her mind to work and find a solution for this, he could have told her what he thought but then it would be too easy for her and the sole purpose of making her deal with situation would go futile, hope she comes up with the same thing he thought off, turn the school into a boarding school or build a hostel for the special kids. That idea seemed farfetched but that is one option where kids who don't have loved ones near can stay and be safe. If she is not able to solve it then he will suggest this idea till then he will let her do the thinking on her own. Well who was he kidding , he himself is not able to stay so far from her that is just being upstairs. He chuckled and went up.

Arohi was in thinking mode, what he said was right. She has to let guddi stay on her own for a while so she gets used to situations like this, she cannot be sure that she will around her forever guddi might live longer than her then what, there should be some permanent solution , bua will take care sure, but what about after sanchit gets married. It was a big scenario and she hated to even think about it. She went over all that arjun had said and there was truth in his words. She went over the last line 'think you will come up a solution since you have a beautiful mind just like you' , wait did he just say just like you , meaning ...

loved it all so far so beautifull. best scenes i loved r the bike ride & the elavator scene.wow u so amazingly added a elavator scene.destiny is deffo stiking & helping them to meet.
