Aditya Sarpotdar made a good (and successful) movie with Munjya, so this may be an entertaining watch, too (for those who like the genre).

Heard it's a very funny and entertaining film from family who works in the industry, should be a hit with good WoM.

On Diwali holiday, a film should open big. However, I do not think Thamma has the buzz like Stree 2 had.

Why compare the film to Stree 2 which was much awaited sequel.

It should be compared to Bhediya.Munjya had newcomers.

Completely agree. Its a different branch of same universe and it does not have a sequel as of yet. All the movies are interconnected with each other and that too towards the end.
