After seeing how the abusive Bachchans exploit Aishwarya and bar her from films in order to prop up their loser son's career, I cannot help but wonder if Aish would have been better off marrying Salman. Salman is not an option after physically and mentally torturing her. I am glad she took a firm stand at the time. Abhishek may not be as successful but he has a big family name, he seems like a good husband and he is not a criminal (Salman’s previous court cases). By nature Abhishek seems chilled out whereas Salman can be a bully.

The in-laws family can be challenging for some people. At least Abhishek loves her and Aishwarya seems happy with Abhishek and Aaradhya.
