I love Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar 😆 idk if it aged well or not..but the classic college clash reminds me of the Malhar and Kaleidoscope fests during junior college days..which used to be great fun ..and DDLJ also looks fresh no matter how much time passes..

It is about banners. YRF is biggest banner, media savvy and penetrated global markets well.

Other stars may have done good films or better scripts or acts but they never got media hype or reach or promotions as YRF gave to their pets.

Today we have internet, social media and stars do not just rely on banners to reach audience nor rely on just screens in theatres.

Salman was really good in MPK, HAHK, HDDCS, Pyar kiya toh darna kya. His comic timing was also good in AAA.

Agree with everything, yet people here are too stiff to admit that yrf and dharma have not helped SRK tremendously with his career throughout right from his debut years till the very last in every phase.

I forgot to mention HDDCS, pktdk and even jbkshh also some other films of 90s like Baaghi, Patthar Ke phool, dil tera ashiq, Sanam bewafa etc where he shined in natkhat type young romantic roles.

Besised the other movies of Aamir that I mentioned which were huge hits he was great in romances like Dil, afsana pyar ka, love love love etc..

Both Aamir and Salman were tagged in their youth as chocolaty heroes and true blue lover boys by the media and the audiences, and their portrayals of such youthful romantic hero roles were really natural and organic with all of the charm that came with such effortless ease to them unlike SRK's similar, calculated, formulaic and forced image of lover boy that involved enforced gimmicky expressions injected in his acting, same style of seemingly learned romantic acting and that criminally overhyped spreading of arms which was introduced originally by Aamir in Pehla Nasha Pehla khumar song.

That sweater over shoulders that SRK copied in Mohabbatein was also worn first by Aamir in Pehla nasha song in JJWS.

Also I was amused to see hype around SRK' abs in OSO when Salman was pioneer of flaunting shirtless physique in 90s itself.

Even the antakshri to confess love scene was copied from MPK in DDLJ. DDLJ has plenty of scenes lifted from HAHK, MPK, QSQT. The weddings, the opposition from family, boy and girl lost or alone in trains or woods.

It was regressive even for it's time some 22 years ago..keh diya naa buss keh diya😂

empty shallow hollow plot with loads and loads of nonstop tears coming outta every character' eyes without any depth given to them... it was more like an entertainer been wrongly packaged as a tear jerker
