What accounts for the success of the Baaghi franchise?

Those movies are absolute trash, without a single redeeming factor. I tried watching Baaghi 1, and it was cringe-inducing.

Are they successful only because of Tiger Shroff's crowd-pulling ability?

Good packaging + Good promotion + starring a good action hero after a long time.

Comedy and action movies headlined by a star are generally quite successful in mainstream cinema. Franchises have even more crowd pulling factor. Unless the movie is extremely terrible (for example, Race 3), the masses enjoy these genres in the theatrical experience. It also helps massively that Tiger has cemented his brand as this action hero. Just check out the TV ratings for Baaghi 3- it's pulling big numbers on every viewing. You can bet there will be a Baaghi 4.

What success? The sequels have not been showing any improvement while the budget and selling price is increasing. This is like Dabangg series. Makers and fans were reluctant to admit the second installment underperformed till the third one also did tatti.

Baaghi 2 outdid Baaghi 1 by leaps and bounds.

Baaghi 3 not so much. But it’s pandemic

The story. The script. As they say, the content is the king now.
