Yes, people can make movies on Kashmiri Pandits but Vivek Agnihotri is not a filmmaker . He is a Modi ka kattar bhakt who spreads hate online 24/7 against those who don’t worship Modi . He is urban bheekhmanga who wants some relevancy. So him making a movie means a huge propaganda behind it .

But there have been films on Islamic terrorists too - showing them in a "human" light - by filmmakers and backers who have their own political affiliations. Vivek Agnihotri stands out only because people weren't used to seeing someone from the film/theatre/arts sphere to to speak up for Hindus too - without being apologetic about it.

Personally I think there are better filmmakers who can make a film on this - but they won't . We are talking about a group of intelligentsia that refused to review and acknowledge Tashkent files. Funnily though, they can't get enough of films showing atrocities on Muslims, the poor misguided Muslim youths who take up arms etc etc.

If Uri had flopped or come out a decade (or two ) ago , the likes of Anupama Chopra would have succeeded in canonizing the narrative of it being jingoistic trash.

I am so glad Tashkent files found its audience and its own success story. After years of watching films that have always been about the evil Hindus and Indian army oppressing the 200 million (and growing) poor, minority Muslim population, it is a nice change to see atleast one filmmaker attempting this - and refusing to be shamed for it.

Yep, been saying this all day. Go ahead and make a movie on the Kashmiri Pandit plight, but Agnihotri will antagonise ALL Muslims. That's my concern here.

But damn, this forum's teeming with right winged and conservative people.

Lmfao, I'm not "threatening". Just saying what could be a realistic outcome. Why are you right wingers so dull?

And I can say the same thing about your community threatening the Kashmiri Muslims with your constant demand for reparation and take what they have claimed.

It's not specific to the valley. The pandits across the nation and over the time have committed atrocities and human right violations against the SCs. If you want to deny that then allow me to deny the plight of the Kashmiri Pandits.

A threat is a threat. Most perpetrators, especially habitual ones rarely accept their crime rather try to normalize it.

They are Indian muslims.

What about Baloch muslims ? Are they still being slaughtered by Pakistani army and ISI ? and haven't they already seceded ? Who would want to stay in a country like Pakistan ?

It is easy to spot a Pakistani from a distance. Your ignorance and your shamelessness about that ignorance is quite amusing.

@bold, It amazes me how even this event has been twisted to fit the Muslim victimhood narrative. So, the Pandits who were driven out by force are now the perpetrators (And the KMs are the victims?!) because they want reparations? Add to that , they are also probably wimps for not fighting back. Well, maybe if they were raised to hate the country and believe that they should take up arms and kill right from their childhood , they could have defended themselves. But silly them, even after all these years , they are such wimps to have never been associated with any violent activities or terrorist groups despite atrocities against them, unlike ....

Btw , if there is no way of showing this incident without calling out who were responsible for it. If that triggers people, so be it.
