Jennifer Winget has been making headlines ever since reports surfaced claiming that the actress is preparing to tie the knot for a second time. According to recent reports, Jennifer is allegedly set to marry Singapore based businessman William Ishmael later this year. While neither Jennifer nor William has officially confirmed the development, the reports have sparked massive excitement among fans who have closely followed the actress's personal journey over the years. Reports suggest that the couple has been dating for some time and are reportedly exploring wedding plans, though an official statement is still awaited.
Amid the ongoing buzz around her reported second marriage, a throwback interview of Jennifer with Bollywood Bubble from around two years ago has resurfaced online. In the candid conversation, the actress reflected on her marriage with Karan Singh Grover, their eventual divorce, and the lessons she took away from that phase of her life.
Looking back at the experience, Jennifer revealed that despite everything she went through, she has no regrets. Speaking about how the journey transformed her, she said, "I was like in my cocoon and I became this beautiful butterfly after that time and I love it. I love it. So I would not change a thing. Because if I'm just talking about my marriage, right, I got my little baby out of it. I got my Breezer, you know. I mean, for him, I would do it again like a thousand times over. I would go through that. So no regrets. Not changing a damn thing."
The actress further explained that getting married felt like the right decision at that point in her life, regardless of what others thought. Recalling her mindset then, she shared, "Even if God would have told me, 'No, don't do it,' I'm like, 'No, but I want to.' That's the thing. If I have to do something, if I want to do something, I will do it. And that's what I wanted to do and it felt right then."

While Jennifer cherishes the good memories from that chapter, she also acknowledged that both she and Karan may not have been ready for marriage at the time.
She said, "And we had, I mean, I had some lovely memories of it and that's what I choose to remember. Unfortunately, I think both of us were not ready. It's not just him or it's not just me. I think both of us weren't ready to take that step."
Opening up further, Jennifer recalled the criticism and concerns she faced from people around her when she decided to get married at the peak of her career.
"There were so many noises around me. There's so many voices, noises in my head also. Let's not go there. Everybody questioned that decision of mine, including my parents, and I just didn't want to listen to them."

The actress admitted that she was extremely happy when she got married and did not think about how the decision could affect her career.
"At that point, I anyway wanted to become a housewife, So if I wasn't getting any work, I was okay with it. I thought, this is what feels right to me now and this is what I'm going to do because my heart is in it. And when your heart is in something, it's very difficult to listen to logic and reason."
Jennifer also reflected on the emotional toll of her divorce, revealing that it left her feeling lost and confused.
"Of course it was difficult. I'll be lying if I say otherwise. I'm human at the end of the day, right? No matter what tragedy happens in your life, there comes a point when you're like, 'Wow... ouch.' It was difficult. At that point, I thought I was very lost. I was very confused because I wasn't understanding what had happened. I really wasn't. I don't want to get too much into it, but I was blank. I just kind of went numb."

However, after allowing herself time to grieve and process the situation, Jennifer eventually found the strength to move forward.
Recalling that turning point, she said, "One day I just woke up and I said, 'That's it. I'm done. I'm done. I don't deserve this. I don't want to be this person. I hate this person.' And because of somebody else? Why? That person doesn't own me. I don't own that person. Things happen. Life happens. It's okay. This is not the end of it. I will not lose sleep over any human being, no matter who it is. Because for me, me is very important."
The actress concluded by explaining that whenever she faces loss or heartbreak, she allows herself the space to mourn before choosing to move ahead.

"So this is how I deal with any loss in my life. I give myself time to mourn, to grieve, to process. And then one day I wake up and I'm like, I'm done."
Jennifer was married to actor Karan Singh Grover in 2012 after the two fell in love while working together on Dill Mill Gayye. The couple parted ways in 2014. More than a decade later, as reports of her relationship with Singapore based businessman William Ishmael continue to dominate headlines, fans are eagerly waiting to see whether the actress is indeed ready to begin a new chapter in her personal life.
