Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Kaveri disowns Armaan from the Poddar family, Abhira leaves to confront her

Tonight's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai episode begins with Armaan standing firm on his decision and refusing to apologize for something he believes he never did. He questions what consequences he will have to face if he chooses not to say sorry. Damyanti responds by saying that if he does not apologize, Disha will no longer remain in the house.

Hearing this, Manisha declares that if Disha leaves, the rest of them will leave as well. Kajal turns to Kaveri and asks her to intervene before the situation worsens. Kaveri, however, takes a strict stand and tells Armaan that he must either apologize to Disha by the next morning or leave the house. Armaan is deeply hurt and asks Kaveri why she is ready to trust everyone else but cannot trust him even once. He feels disappointed that nobody in the family is willing to support him.

Kaveri then hands Armaan a family photograph and asks him to decide what matters more—his family or his self-respect. Witnessing the situation, Abhira decides that it is time to reveal Armaan’s medical condition to the Poddar family.

Before she can speak, Armaan stops her. Abhira argues that Kaveri is being unfair by forcing such a difficult choice upon him. Armaan replies that Kaveri has already made her decision and left him with no real option. Abhira regrets assuring him that the Poddars would always stand by him.

Armaan says this is not the first time he has suffered because of someone else’s mistake. According to him, he has repeatedly paid the price for things he never did. Though he tries to appear strong, he asks Abhira not to reveal the truth about his health because he does not want anyone’s sympathy.

Abhira tells him that he does not need to hide his emotions in front of her. Unable to hold himself together any longer, Armaan breaks down. He is devastated that his own family refuses to trust him. He says he no longer wants anything from the Poddars. Abhira questions whether he can really stay away from his family during such a challenging phase of his life.

Armaan responds that the Poddars are no longer his family because they so easily accepted the accusation that he could raise his hand against a woman. He once again makes it clear that he will never apologize for something he has not done.

Soon, Armaan and Abhira ask Mukti and Maira to get ready and come with them. Mukti and Maira immediately sense that something is being hidden from them. To avoid worrying them, Armaan and Abhira make up a reason for leaving the house.

Later, Abhira questions Armaan about lying to the girls. Armaan explains that Mukti and Maira are growing up quickly, but he still does not want them to carry the burden of the family’s problems. He feels they should be protected from unnecessary stress. Meanwhile, Maira tells Mukti that adjusting to a smaller house may not be easy, but it could also be an exciting new experience.

As the family prepares to leave, Disha convinces herself that Rishabh is innocent. She believes that taking this step is necessary to keep him safe from Armaan.

While leaving, Armaan suddenly loses his balance and falls. Abhira immediately rushes to support him. She then asks him to take one final look at the house before they walk away. Wondering if they will ever return, Abhira asks him the same. Armaan firmly replies that they will never come back.

At the same time, Maira remains suspicious and continues to feel that Armaan and Abhira are not telling the complete truth.

Following Kaveri’s condition, Armaan and Abhira tear the family photograph before walking out of the house. Kaveri silently watches as they leave, bringing an emotional chapter of their relationship with the family to an end.

In the precap, Armaan and Abhira try to enjoy peaceful moments with Maira and Mukti in their new life. However, Maira is stunned after reading a newspaper article. Armaan is shocked to discover that Kaveri has publicly announced that he has been disowned. Hurt by the humiliation, he asks Abhira whether Kaveri hates him so much that she wants to keep hurting him even after throwing him out. Abhira, upset and angry, walks away from him.
