You are my destiny (Prem Heer FF)

Prologue:

How our society reacts when husband is 10 years older than his wife is. Sometimes some sick people comments how husband is lucky to get such a younger wife, but society accepts that type of couple generally. When husband is five year older than his wife society accepts it. When husband is three years older than his wife is apart from some people, society accepts them and it is becoming popular in urban area.

When husband and wife are same aged, problems begin to start. First some of the friends and family members of husband would told the man that, he should not marry a woman of his age as his wife would not respect him as her husband, or he could do much better by marrying a woman who is significantly younger than him, or his wife will lose her youthfulness soon when he would still remain young.

Still, with advancement of society, society came to accept this type of couple may be with less enthusiasm. Still consider it as rare thing.

Nevertheless, what happened when the woman is older than her husband is. We normally saw this type couple in show biz but outside of that, it is super rare. For a vast portion of our society, a woman having younger husband is an unnatural thing, it is like an unbreakable taboo for many of them. They think in that case, the husband is either very stupid or after the money of his wife for marrying a woman who is older than he is.

Love does not see age therefore, we are recently seeing some of those marriage but all of them are love marriages.

In an arranged marriage you can never imagine that, husband will be younger than his wife will. No family normally considers such type of match for an arranged marriage.

In this story, you will see Prem is younger than Heer is and they got married together under special circumstances. You will see how society reacts to them for this.

How Prem and Heer will overcome the awkwardness around their relationship.

How their family will react when people will start to call Prem as

A very stupid person for being married to a woman who is older than he is.

A sacrificial lamb for family, who destroyed his own life when he could easily marry a much younger wife.

Or will pass comment like-

He will have a very unhappy married life as his wife will not respect him at all as he is younger than her , on the top of that she will lose her youth fullness soon when he will still remain young.

Or some people will comment like-

Prem must have some serious physical, mental, or character flaws in him for marrying a woman who is older than he is.

How Prem himself will cope with this situation. He never thought this woman would be his wife as she is his older second cousin. He never saw Heer in such way. Will his effort proved to be enough to make the marriage work. Will his wife accept him as her husband from bottom of her heart?

Will their choice match, will they able to compromise? Will they able to prevent their ego to clash with each other? Will they able to love each other at the end? This type of questions will haunt his mind while he would face various degree of societal pressure after his marriage.

What about Heer? How she would cope with the whole situation?

How she will react when people will throw colorful comments towards her for marrying a younger man and accuse her for having serious character flaw.

How will she react when some people will accuse her for ruining her husband's life?

How she will face the people who will tell her it was she who were the main guilty party in this whole thing?

How she will maintain herself when she heard she would not be able to satisfy her husband like a younger woman.

She will not get same level of satisfaction from Prem like the one she could get from a more mature husband.

How she will fell when society will accuse her for not respecting her husband just because she is older than he is.

How she will cope with herself for being married to a man who is younger than she is. She never thought her husband would be younger than she is as she was expected to be married though an arranged marriage. How she will remove the feeling that Prem took a pity on her? How she will know that Prem silently does not curse her for ruining his life?

Will Prem able to accept her as his wife? Can she expects that, may be one day they will love each other?

Those thought will make her uneasy along with society's reaction.

In this story, we will see if Prem and Heer can realized that, yes god send people in pairs but in some of those pairs woman born early than her man. Just because their age compsotion is different from other couples, that does not mean they are inferior to other couples. Their marriage is less meaningful than other couples are. They too have a right to love each other; their relationship should also be respected by society. They should not be subject to people's colorful comment.
We will also see if close relatives of the couple can realize that, there is nothing unnatural and weirdness in Prem and Heer's relationship and there is no flaw in Prem and Heer, they are just two normal people who are married to each other.

Character sketch:

Prem Juneja:

He is 23 years old. He recently completed his MBA.Currently living in Canada but will return to India soon. He is the son of Late Anurag and Sipra Juneja. Anurag was younger brother of Lalit Juneja and Sipra was younger sister of Gayetri Juneja. Both Juneja brothers married to Maan sisters. Anurag and Sipra died in car accident.

After their death , Prem comes to live with his Badi papa Lalit and his Badi papa Gayetri. He respected them like his own parents. He can do anything for his family. Secretly he felt in debt to Lalit and Gayetri for upbringing him.

He is also close to his Balraj uncle who is first cousin or chachare bhai of his late mother. He regularly talk with him in phone but he did not visited Balraj's house for 15 years.

He is first cousin of Harman and Preet Juneja, Veera Juneja. He is second cousin of Heer Maan, Meher Maan, Nihal Maan, Ashlesha Maan, and Geet Maan.

He has a secret passion.

Heer Maan:

She is 25 years old. She is a lawyer. She expertise in corporate law. She lived in Ludhiana with her parents. She is the daughter of Balraj Maan and Teji Maan. She love her family very much.

She is elder sister of Nihal and Meher Maan. She is first cousin of Geet and Ashelesha Maan, She is second cousin of Prem,Harman, Preet, and Veera Juneja.

She also has a secret passion.

Harman Juneja:

He is 29 years old .He is eldest son of Lalit and Gayetri Juneja. He is an established businessperson. He is very ambitious in his life as he wanted to become one of the richest people in the world. He also has political ambition.

His relationship Prem is more and less good and he genuinely think him as his younger brother. Harman loves his family in his way but he love himself much more and sometimes that creates conflict.

Preet Juneja:

He is 20.5 years old. He is youngest son of Lalit & Gayetri Juneja. He is a free spirited person. He is final year graduation student of BBA.

He shares a good bond with his cousin brother Prem than his brother Harman mainly due to age difference. He loves his family.

He is second cousin of Heer, Meher, Nihal, Geet and Ashelesha.

Meher Maan:

She is 20 years old. She is a third year medical student. She is much more extrovert than her sister and has a good sense of humor. She is close with her Heer di and her cousin Geet di. She found her other cousin sister Ashlesha funny.

She is second cousin of Prem, Preet , Harman and Veera.

Nihal Maan:

Only son of Maan family. Brother of Heer and Meher. He is 22 years old. He is doing MBA. He is a sensible decent guy and love his family. However, he is kind of bookish type and more introvert even compared to Heer. He shares a great rapport with his cousin sister Geet .

He is second cousin of Prem, Preet , Harman, Veera.

Veera Juneja:

She is 18 year old. First year graduation student in fashion desigining. She is loved by her parents and Prem, Preet, Harman. She is a secret romantic in her heart.

She is second cousin of Heer, Meher, Nihal, Geet, Ash.

Geet Maan:

She is 21 years old. She is first cousin of Heer, Nihal, Meher. She is more closer to her cousins than her sister Ash. Unlike her parents, Geet is ready to sacrifice herself for family. She is a final year BBA student.

She is second cousin of Prem, Preet, Harman, Veera.

Ashlesha Maan:

Youngest daughter of Balwant and Daljeet Maan. Her only dream is becoming a famous model. She is 19 years old. She has some study break. She will be first year graduation student in next year.

Second cousin of Prem, Preet, Harman, and Veera.

Lalit Juneja:

He is 55 years old. He is a rich businessman. He has business in Canada and India. He is currently living with his family in Canada. He is hoping to resettle himself in Ludhina. He is husband of Gayetri. Father of Harman, Preet, Veera. He is bade papa of Prem. He always treated and counted Prem as his son not as his nephew. He shares a close friendship with his child friend Balraj Maan.

Gayetri Juneja:

She is 50 years old. She holds the whole Juneja family together. She is also first cousin or chachare behen of Balraj Maan. She and her late sister Sipra had no brother, therefore they always thought Balraj as their brother like figure.

She loves her children and despite being a mausi and chachi of Prem she loves him as his own son. She was very fond of her sister and his late brother in law and therefore easily accepted Prem when they die in car accident as she regarded Prem as the last symbol of them.

Balraj Maan:

He is 55 years old. He is also a well to do businessman but he is not that much rich like his friend Lalit Juneja. He is a loving husband of Teji Maan. He loves his children very much. He also take care studies of his nice Geet as her parents usually do not give much importance to education.

He does not have any sister. However, he always treated Gayetri and Sipra as his own sister. He was very happy when his cousin sisters got married to Juneja Brothers.

He shares a good relationship with Prem, the son of his late cousin sister Sipra.

Teji Maan:

She is 51 years old. She is a loving wife and mother. She also adored Geet who called her as badi maa.

She tried her level best to guide her sister in law Daljeet in a right path. However, she failed at that every time.

Balwant Maan:

He is 48 years old and good for nothing brother of Balraj . He is a college drop out. He is financially very dependent on his elder brother. He is also not interested of doing any works. He passed his time by watching tv, playing cards, drinking alcohol.

Daljeet Maan:

She is 45 years old. She passed her time by gossiping and making horrible dishes. She wants to become richer somehow.
