Now the PH silent convo with eyes - you wrote v well. Brief scenes without dragging you did it v nicely ⭐️ Great job Shuridh. 👏

Looking forward to future chapters as PH face others. Does this mean Prem will be moving to India? How is this gona work. I was under the impression he was here for supposed wedding of Harman Heer briefly. Hmm

Preet is missing here. I would love to see what his reaction has been and where is he btw? He's his PB's other half isn't he 😆

Also the ...what you referred to as colourful languague of relatives - you did write well. I got the picture of who is who and what made them to react that way ... it's not a norm for them to see.

oho Preet Meher are here v nice. Enjoyed their tidbits to story. I'd feel lost without Preet in this issue.

Y'know it would have been great if Heer said she wants to speak to Prem about this.
However I understand traditionally aisa nahi ho sakti - parents probably don't allow that.
Phir b update is fab. You have covered all other angles of Maan family questions.

Chapter 8

Both Maan and Juneja families tried to pretend like nothing abnormal happened in Prem- Heer marriage. Therefore, they decided to continue all post-wedding rituals.

One of those rituals was finding ring in a bowl filled with milk. Both family members were gathering around Prem and Heer to see that.

"Dekhna jitenge to mere Prem bhayia hi kyunki wo ek business man wo jante hein har situation mein kya karna chahiye." Preet told Meher in support of Prem.

" Jee nahi, mana Prem Jiju bahut acche businessman hein, lekin meri behen ek ukil hein, unki dimag bahut tej chalti hein, dekhna jeet to meri didi ka hi hogi." Meher replied.

The elders were nervously smiling in that time. They knew the circumstances of Prem and Heer's marriage was very unconventional. They knew Prem -Heer would need time and space to be fully comfortable with the fact that their fates were now intertwined for rest of their lives.

However, they were ready to support their kids in that difficult moment as they knew both would be subjected to heavy criticisms from the society.

But, not all elders were thinking same way. Yes, you have guessed right Daljeet was not at all happy after witnessing Prem-Heer's movie. She was dreaming to trap Prem or Preet for her two daughters even two days ago. Now that Heer snatch away Prem, she was hoping that somehow her youngest daughter Ash would be able to trap youngest son Preet of Juneja family.

"Mujhe ek baat samaj nahi aati ye sab tamasha karne ki kya maine hein. Ye shaddi to normal shaddi nahi hein, ye achanak ek hadse ji wajashe hui hein. Mujhe to bechare Prem ke liye daya aa rahi hein.

Bechare ki puri zindegi barbad ho gayi. Itna accha dekhnewala, acche pariwar ki ek raise ladke ko aapne se umar mein badi ladki se shadi karne para. Bechare zindegi mein kabhi shadi ka asli sukh feel nahi karne payega.Upar se ye Heer to highly educated hein, lawyer hein, kartate janti hein mujhe nahi lagta hein wo kabhi bhi Prem ko puri tadikse apni pati manenge.

Bechare Prem sari zindegi physically,mentally aur emotionally unsatisfied rahengi Heer ka saat. "Daljeet commented.

"Ye baat to apne bilkul sahi kaha hein parjayji, lekin aap to janti hein saach karwa hoti hein aur lagta hein yaha par logo mein uss karwahat ko hazam karne ki shamta nahi hein. Dekhiye aap ki ek chance to gayi. Aap dekhiye dosre bhi na jay, meine aap ki jeth ji ki beti Meher ko dekhi hein aajkal wo kutch jyda hein waqt bita rahi hein Preet ke saat aur Preet bhi kutch jyda hi friendly ho rahi uske saat." A distant relative of Daljeet told Daljeet.

"Kya bataye tumhe Kamala meri jeth ji ki jo do beti heina wo bahar se to bahut sida sada lagti hein lekin andar se bahut zyda shatir hein, lekin iss bar mein hone nahi dongi. Preet junjeja ka shaddi meri beti se hogi, Meher se nahi ye mari tumse wada rahi." Daljeet told her.

In other side of the room, Heer was sitting quitely and thinking about her future with her husband Prem.

From today she would be called as Heer Prem Juneja, she did not know what to think about it. She felt a connection or bond with Prem when they completed their wedding. Nevertheless, she was again feeling some nervousness. She was obviously nervous about her wedding night. She heard that usually it was a special night for a newly wedded bride. She did not know what she would do tonight.

She did not even think Prem would be her husband even yesterday. She needed some time to adjust to new reality. Would Prem understand her awkward situation?

She was also feeling little uncomfortable about herself. Yes, she knew Prem grew up in Canada and he was a total gentleman but Heer was afraid that, Prem would never find her as physically attractive due to the fact that she was older than him.

Her insecurity was making her very nervous.

Prem was also feeling anxious about his wedding night. He had obviously no plan of getting married even yesterday, now he was a married man, he had a wife.

His fate would be forever intertwined with her. Prem was surprised that, he felt so natural around Heer when they were performing their wedding ceremony. He somehow felt a connection between them.

Nevertheless, Prem did not know what to do tonight, He knew that, Heer would be feeling insecure about herself, but Prem did not know how to remove that insecurity.

He himself was feeling insecure about the fact that Heer might find him not mature enough. He heard how few aunties were talking about importance of an older husband as older husbands had a better understanding of the various needs of their wives. Prem did not know what Heer was exactly expecting for him in their wedding night.

Prem needed time to prepare himself mentally for that; despite being raised in Canada, some parts of him still traditional in heart. He was never physically intimate with any woman. He did not even kiss anyone.

For him he needed to have an emotional, mental connection with a woman before he could become physically intimate with her and he was a one woman in whole lifetime type of man. Therefore, he never had a romantic relationship with anyone.

Prem respected her as a person, but before today, he never considered her as his romantic interest. Yes, he found her very beautiful in her wedding dress but he still needed some time to get used to it and thinking her as a romantic interest.

He wanted to build an emotional bond with her, he wanted to know her as a person, and he wanted to establish a mental connection with her. To do that entire he needed sometime.

Would Heer understand his point of view? Prem was afraid that Heer would misunderstand him. He was also afraid that, Heer would think his slow approach as a rejection of her.

He also afraid that, his total inexperience around the woman in regards of romantic relationship would make him behave sudden way that Heer might found immature.

"Chaliye bhaiya aur bhabi khel shuru kije aur dhond nikale ring, jo ring payega wo iss relationship mein dominate karega." Preet told them.

Prem and Heer tried their best to find the ring. Several times their hands touched or rubbed against each other. Because of that, both of them felt an unknown sensation in their bodies.

Both found that experience surprisingly pleasurable. Their faces went red.

" Aarhe dekho na didi aur jiju ka chere kaise lal ho rahe, aap dono kyun sharma rahe itna aab to sari zindegi ek dosre ki haat mein haat rakke aap dono cholenge." Geet teased them and made them blush more.

" Geet meri do baccho ka tang mat karo"Gayetri told Geet.

"Aare Gayetri tum to bahut acche sass ho, abbhi se aapni bahu ki tarafdari l

karnewali ho hein." One relative remarked.

"Heer ke sass hone se pehele mein uski bua thi aur use aapni beti ka tarah dekhi. Wo sirf meri bahu nahi hogi, wo meri beti bhi hogi." Gayetri lovingly replied.

Prem, Heer on the other hand finally found the ring and both were holding opposite sides of the ring.

"Wo didi ye kya hogayi, ye to match tie ho gayi hein, iska matlab aap dono ka relationship balanced hogi,aap jiju ke upar chadi nahi ghuma payengi." Meher commented.

Both tried again but that time also they were holding opposite side of the ring. They themselves were surprised after seeing that. They looked at each other shyly; they did not why they were both feeling unknown pull towards each other.

"Ye kya kiya hein aapne bhai phir se tie kardi bhabi ke saat." Preet laughingly told his brother.

"Accha ye game to tie ho gayi, aapto tie break karne padegi, mujhe lagti hein kyunki Prem jiju aur Heer di dono hi acche gati hein, to dono ek dusre ke liye ek payara sa romantic song ek saat gayenge , jo sabse acche gayegi wo iss competition ki winner banegI."Meher declared.

"Kya baat hein Meher tum ne to meri dil ke baat kahe di, chaliye bhaiya aur bhabi suru ho jayye."

" Aare rukho tum dono , didi aur jijaji ko ekele mein kutch waqt to do kunsa ganna chunne ka. Geet suggested.

"Aapne bilkul sahi kahi di. Thick hein panch minute o ke liye hum iss room mein didi aur jiju ekela chor de, aapas discuss karne ke liye. Meher told everone.

After that, all the members left the room and for the first time Prem Heer were alone in a room after their marriage.
