If you tell me DP does not get the Urdu accent right I will concede on that point cause she barely speaks unaccented Hindi and has tinges of South Indian accent creeping in but since when has Ash developed accent problems with Hindi/Urdu😕
Also isn't an accent associated with a place rather than a language ... So how can Urdu or any language have a standardised accent??
@bold - Urdu and Hindi are NOT same. These two languages are poles apart, yes they have common words but that does not mean the languages dont have distinct dialects and accents. Its just saying that French and English are same expect for a few words. Even those languages have borrowed words.
A simple song as bulleya using typical urdu words is incomprehensible to a majority hindi speaking audience, how are you saying that its different on the basis of a FEW different words?
We are speaking here about the proper urdu, which u may find in Pakistan, and Indian parts of lucknow and Hyderabad, rest u will find Hindi in Mumbai Delhi etc.
Urdu has a specific accent where every phonetic sound is articulated unlike Hindi where the sounds of "t" and "d" are uttered through the rolling of the toungue to the upper teeth. Urdu language uses the "noon-gunnah" a nasal silent sound of "n" which formulates the ending of many crucial words.
Please try to be careful when talking about sensitive things. A language is a very distinct feature of someone's idenity.
