Prologue

Khushi placed her finger on the left mouse button preparing herself to open the e-mail she had just received. She was nervous. "Hey Devi Maiyya, hope the reply is positive..." she prayed looking upwards. Shutting her eyes tightly, she gulped before pressing the button on the mouse to open the mail. Opening her eyes slightly, she tried to read the mail. And then her eyes were wide open in surprise. She covered her mouth with both her palms as she could not believe what she was reading. After going through the mail a number of times, she finally let out a cry of excitement. "Amma... Babuji... Dadi..." she called out as she jumped on her bed with joy. They all rushed to her room worried thinking that something had happened to her. But they were surprised to see her jumping happily on the bed. "I am short-listed for the interview!!" she told them in excitement. "I will be giving an interview to join the Raizada Group!! Yayy!!"
