All the team members were standing outside, worried. They were tapping the door.

"Khushi... Please open the door yaar...!!" said Shikha.

"Haan Khushi, we are sorry yaar... please open the door..!!" cried Avi.

"Stop this drama Khushi... and come out!" said Dolly.

They all were hoping that Khushi was fine. They were trying their best to console Khushi. But she didn't open the door.

"I think we should call Arnav Sir...!" suggested Sonali.

"No!!" cried Shikha. "He wanted all this... He won't bother about Khushi..." she said. "Someone please call Aman Sir...!!"

"But Aman Sir is on leave..." stated Rishab.

"I know, but if he is in Pune, he will surely come...!!" said Shikha. "Please make it fast!"

Varun called up Aman. Fortunately, Aman was in Pune.

"Sir, there's a situation here... Could you please come here Sir? It is urgent. Khushi is..."

"Khushi?!! What happened to her??"

"Sir, it is not possible to tell everything over the phone..."

"Okay... I will be there in 15 minutes!!"

The phone call ended.

"Aman Sir will be here soon!" informed Varun.

"Khushi!" called out Shikha. "Please open the door dear... We will talk it out! Don't worry..."

"Khushi?!" called out Avi.

There was no reply whatsoever from within.

Now everyone was more worried. Why was Khushi not replying? Was she alright? Had anything happened to her? Why was there no sound or movement within?

Everyone tried a lot to speak to Khushi, but in vain.

Aman reached there.

"Kya ho raha hai yahan? What's going on?" he asked looking at the scenario. "And where is Khushi?"

Everyone told him what had happened. He was shocked to know all this.

"What!! Arnav told you to do all this?" he exclaimed.

"Yes Sir, and we had no other choice..." said Shikha sadly.

"How could he do this? And how could you all... huh"

Aman went ahead.

"Khushi!" he called out. "I got to know all this right now... I am really sorry for what happened. But don't worry, I am here now. We all will sort this out...! Everything will be alright, I promise...!"

There was no reply.

"Khushi?!" Aman called out again.

There was a "click" sound as the door opened. They all were relieved to see Khushi fine. Her eyes were red. She seemed exhausted.

"Khushi, are you alright?" Shikha went forward and held Khushi by her shoulder.

Khushi did not reply. She just walked ahead silently. How could she be alright after all that had happened?

Aman pulled up a chair.

"Come... sit here..." said he to Khushi.

Khushi sat down. Pranav brought a bottle of water. Khushi drank some.

"Arey you okay?" asked Aman.

Khushi looked at Aman. "Why is he doing this to me?" she asked in a wet voice. Her eyes watered.

Aman felt bad. Everyone felt sorry for Khushi.

"Only he knows the answer to this..." said Aman thoughtfully. "But whatever he is doing is absolutely not right!!" said he, angry with Arnav.

Khushi had still not come out of the shock.

"Don't worry Khushi, I have got a plan!" said Aman.

Everyone listened curiously.

"See, Arnav wants Shikha and team's concept to be there at the event, and not Khushi's. So, he won't be paying much attention to what you all are working on as he knows Shikha and you all are well experienced. So here's what you all will do..."

And he explained the plan to Khushi and the others. Everyone admired Aman's plan.

"And be very careful... Arnav should not get to know this till the event is done... Did everyone get it?"

Everyone nodded.

"Don't worry Sir, I will handle Arnav Sir!!" said Shikha.

"Yeah yeah...why not?" teased Aman. "We all know you have a crush on Arnav!" he winked.

Everyone giggled. Shikha was surprised. "You know it?!!" she exclaimed and blushed away.

Khushi was shocked. "How can anyone like this Laad Governor?!!" she wondered.

Khushi was still sad.

"But when Arnav Sir will come to know this, what will happen then?" she asked.

"Don't worry Khushi... Aman Sir is there with you..." said Avi. Aman nodded. "And we all are there...!" Avi added.

Khushi felt better now.

"Okay, now everyone get back to work and everything should seem normal... okay?" said Aman. "And yes, Arnav should not know I was here...!! Get it?!"

"Yes Sir!" said everyone.

"Khushi, should I drop you home?" asked Aman.

"No Sir... I will be fine..." said Khushi.

"Are you sure?"

Khushi nodded.

"Thank you so much Sir!" she said.

"No need to say that Khushi... And whenever you have any problem, don't hesitate to tell me...! Okay?!" said Aman.

Khushi nodded with a smile. She was very thankful to have a boss like Aman.

Khushi showed the site inspection report to Aman. He was quite impressed. He suggested Khushi a few corrections and changes. Now Arnav had no chance of rejecting the report!

Aman left. Arnav had not arrived yet. Before leaving, Aman halted at the reception to tell Mansi not to let anyone know of his arrival. Mansi assured him of that.

Later, Khushi came to submit the site inspection report to Arnav. She had made the required changes as told by Aman. She took the prints of the respective pages again and compiled the final report.

But at the reception, Mansi told Khushi that Arnav had not arrived yet. Khushi returned to work telling Mansi to inform her when Arnav came.

"Report dikhaya?" asked Shikha as Khushi came in. "What did he say?"

"He hasn't come yet..." said Khushi as she kept the file on the table and joined the others.

Everyone was engrossed in their respective work. Soon it was lunch time. Khushi checked whether Arnav had come, but he had not.

Khushi met Anjali and Shyam during lunch and told them everything. They were shocked too.

"How can Arnav Sir be so cruel?" said Anjali.

"Exactly!! But good that at least Aman Sir understands you!" said Shyam.

After lunch, as Khushi was passing by the reception, Mansi informed her that Arnav had come. Khushi went to M-112 to get the report file. The room was locked as others had not returned yet. She opened the door and went in to get the file that she had kept on the table.

But she was shocked. The file was not on the table.

"Yahin toh rakhi thi...!" thought Khushi as searched everywhere.

But the file was nowhere to be found! Khushi became tensed and restless.

"Where did the file go...? What will I do now?" she thought.

She checked the whole room, all the shelves and cupboards as well... But the file wasn't there.

"Maybe, someone from the team has kept it somewhere... I will ask everyone when they come..." she thought.

Just then, there was a knock on the door. Khushi looked in the direction hoping it was a team member. But alas, it was a peon.

"Khushi Madam, Arnav Sir has called you with the report...!" he told.

Khushi shivered. "Oh no!! What will I tell Arnav Sir now!!"

The peon was waiting for her to come along.

Khushi reached Arnav's cabin. The peon opened the door for Khushi to enter. Khushi could hear her heartbeats in her ears.

"Hey Devi Maiyya, bacha lena...!!" Save me!
