Epis 1-4:
Nice slow start, taking time to give us an idea of each character and the dynamics amongst them. Absolutely lovable is Mehak & PD, hateable is dadaji. Kanta chachi seems to be tough on the outside and good inside, the sister is annoying, brother is fine, others are all okish type.
Blink and miss 1st look of the hero, showing off his dhole shole in that 3 second intro.
Can't understand why KC is so ziddi about ajay as future damad. He is so eww.. khud tho unemployed hai, wants to piggyback ride on future wife's career. Pammi is also not a MIL one would like for their daughter.
Mehak's friend is cool, a looker too.
Epis 5 & 6:
I like how they show all these issues in detail- dowry, reserving roadside parking slot, petty one upmanship with the mohallewale, gossips etc. All the character actors are very good except chote chachu who overacts and his wife who under acts.
Mehak was looking so beautiful in her friend's roka, I wonder if she is called fat then what would they call a really obese person.
Small online tussles between Mehak & KK, doesn't look like they are going to meet any time soon. 1st his family & his dynamics with them needs to be introduced.
Epis' 7 & 8:
Gawd, why KC is shamelessly running behind Pammi, as if that Ajay idiot is the last man on earth. Poor Mehak is burdened with all the talks of money for the wedding, grooms not waiting in line, dieting & exercise advises. Her word play on dowry was too apt for that idiot.
PD is a rockstar, supports Mehak in everything.
Longer chats with KK now. The makers took more than 5 episodes to reveal his 1st name.
Mahak is going to be a cheating assistant.
Nehal is the most useless character in the Sharma family.
As usual PD rocked with her dance and her nickname & roasting of Pammi 😂
Make Pammi your MIL today - such a cringe dialog from KC.
Finally their signature BGM played for the 1st time when Mehak fell on KK's flex banner. It was a grand face reveal & What a face... I have watched a few zkm reels with this BGM, its awesome.
Clearly SK has something against middle class which we will know when his background is revealed.
Mehak fainted, he saw that but kept walking & then suddenly he turned back and offered her the energy bar. I didn't understand why he came back. At least we were spared the usual fall n catch trope, more realistic this way.
Ajay & Nehal Ewwww.....
Nehal is not only useless, she is a total b***** to go for the guy who is still being pursued by her family for her sister.
Epis' 11 -13:
So we know India super cook show is going to happen and of course Mehak is going to be participate.
Rajeev found her and she got a mouthful from SK and she gave back to him too. What a sadu face leke ghoom raha hai yeh banda.
Skipping ajay Nehal scenes.
PD as usual comes to Mehak's help. Nehal Mehak scene was good.
Just a glance at her back as she walked away and he recognized the dhabewali.
Why they are not yet showing his family, I'm getting impatient to know why he hates middle class.
Acting wise, SJ has eased into the role well, KV's performance is stilted, probably because the FL has more screen time and gotten the hang of it.

Rajiv tried to convince them for ISC. Though their reluctance is understandable, I expected PD to encourage Mehak to go out of her comfort zone and try it. This is not the age to restrict oneself to a narrow tunnel, duniya dekhni hai. For once chote chachu is right, not to reject the offer outright. Lets see how they finally decide to enter the competition.

Epis' 16-18:
SK is by nature khadoos, ok, but why the extra khaduwahat wrt MS? Just looking at her or her application form he becomes so angry, ithna bhadak jaatha hai.
Oh how much he's gonna torture her during ISC. KC ne Anjanae mein, doe ko seedhe lion's den mein daal di. Poor MS, she's already so nervous.
Kya swag wala entry maara SK ne! waving his hands at whom, no one was waving at him 😂
Epi 19:
ISC auditions begin. MS be like a lkg kid looking back at her parents while the teacher is dragging her to the classroom, so cute. SK in full KK mode, full on bitter, didn't leave a chance to insult & berate her publicly. How does he know about sauten in tv shows? Intimidating her with his looks and touch 😡
Sadu ne disqualify kar dia, I think Rajiv will get her back in.
