Character Sketch –

Maan Singh Khurana

Famous Surgeon working in Leelavati Hospital, Mumbai. He is a hardworking and highly professional doctor whose whole life revolves around work. He rarely smiles and when it does it doesn't reach his eyes. Too serious but he was not always like this….

Geet Khurana

MBA graduate with high business acumen. She is a beautiful, charming girl and is very good at running Khurana group of industries with her brother. She can be quite ruthless when it comes to business and has a strong outlook. But she is a major prankster when it comes to her personal life and her family is her world and most important thing in her life

Raj Khurana –

Geet's father. A very understanding and loving man who believes in love unconditionally. His life is his family.

Nisha Khurana –

Geet's mother. Same as Geet's dad and had a love marriage with Raj

Rahul Khurana –

Geet's twin brother. Geet and Rahul have a special bond and are inseparable.

Pari Juneja –

Rahul's fianc

Rishab Khurana –

Maan's father and Raj's best friend

Juhi Khurana –

Maan's mother and Nisha's best friend

Annie Khurana –

Maan's younger sister and is apple of everybody's eyes

Story So Far –

Maan and Geet are very close family friends. Geet is suffering from nemocytis but is stable due to surgery performed by Maan. Maan and his parents have moved to Delhi and live close to Geet's house. They both love each other and Maan makes plans to confess his love. Due to an accident he is not able to and Geet confesses her love first. This starts a romantic journey for both Maan and Geet.

Maan and Geet want to tell their family about their relationship and are waiting for the right time to avoid any complications. Geet's first cousin Naintara likes Maan and her mom has already sent a proposal to Maan's parents but they have not yet accepted the proposal though they are excited about it.

Let's see how Maan and Geet disclose their relationship. Will Naintara take it lying low or will she create more problems. How will Maan and Geet overcome all the obstacles to be together till death do them part?

Chapter 51 – Trouble Trouble

Two Days later evening

Raj got a phone call.

Raj – "Hello"

Mr. Kapoor – "Hello Mr. Khurana, this is Mr. Kapoor here from Kapoor building materials and co"

"Yes Mr. Kapoor, how can I help you?"

"Mr. Khurana, I just wanted to ask you why your daughter is doing this to us. Because of her once again we are on roads. She has bought all our shares and through the board of directors she is forcing me and my son to resign. I know that there was some misunderstanding which happened between her and my son. But I have already begged in front of her. I was at her feet and she had pardoned me. Now after almost a year she is doing this again? Why?"

Mt Kapoor was crying - "I am your age Mr. Khurana but I still asked for her forgiveness. Why can't she let go. Please for once can't you forgive and forget? I have spent my entire life in building this business…this business is my life."

Raj was very surprised to hear this. He knew her daughter. She was a very kind hearted person but could get a little ruthless when it came to business. But still he did not want to comment without knowing the complete truth.

Raj – "Well Mr. Kapoor I don't know everything about this. But I promise I will talk to Geet and I will try my best to dissuade her from doing this. Let me talk to her and get back to you."

As soon as he kept the phone he noticed the questioning look on everyone's face. Raj told in short what had happened.

As soon as he finished, he saw Geet entering.

Raj – "Geet beta"

Geet – "Ji Dad"

Raj – "Beta abhi Mr. Kapoor ka phone aaya tha. Woh keh rahe the ki tumne unki company ko takeover kar liya hai and now you are forcing him and his son Dev out. Why are you doing this because they have set this business with lot of struggle? He said that you don't like Dev and taking revenge when he has already apologized to you. What's going on?"

Geet – "Woh dad, it is all part of business strategy. I will explain to you later tonight"

Saying this Geet hurriedly went to her room. Raj understood that Geet does not want to talk in front of everyone and decided to speak to her later.

One hour later

Geet was in the kitchen happily stirring pesto sauce. It has been two days since she has seen Maan and though she talked to him in the night, she was still missing him a lot. He had agreed to come today for dinner but said he will leave immediately after that as he was on mission – "Ignore Naintara."

Geet had come early from office to make dinner and was preparing an Italian menu including focaccia bread, minestrone soup, pesto pasta with char grilled red peppers and tiramisu for dessert. Soup was already done and bread was baking. While pasta was getting ready, Geet started preparing dessert by making a coffee and marsalla wine sauce. She was humming to herself and was excited. She wondered how crazy she has become

(Guys I love Italian food and this is my favorite menu….I was so happy when Maan said in GHSP that he loves pasta…though it would have been better if they had shown pesto sauce rather than rich white sauce)

Geet st – "Jhalli do din…poore do din baad milenge aaj Maan…sach ab ek din bhi nahin raha jata unse mile bina…seriously I never thought I will think like this…"

Dinner Table

Maan smiled looking at the food in front of him. He loved Italian food and he knew his Mishti had made all this because she was really missing him. He passed her a big smile – "Geet. Sach mein tum bahut achi ho…food really looks good"

As everyone settled to start their dinner, Chayiji started the discussion – "Geet ab to batao…aakhir hua kya tha jo unhe phone karna pada bhai sahib ko"

Raj was exasperated at the choice of her topic "Preeto hum iske bare mein baad mein baat kar sakte hai"

Chaiyiji – "Are bhai sahib, fir aapki laadli kahegi yeh thak gayi hai…Rahul bhi hai yahan pe…aisi kaun si business deal hai iski…Geet agar tum aise hi dushman banati phirogi na to main yeh sochti hoon tumse shaadi kaun karega…bahar ki duniya ke liye to you are just a stone hearted deal maker"

Geet saw that Maan was fuming where as Rahul was at the end of his limit.

Rahul –"Kya hua papa, yeh kaun si deal ki baat ho rahi hai"

Raj knew it was useless to hide now. He summarized Mr. Kapoor's call.

Rahul got up – "Uski itni himmat…are woh to bahut saste mein chut gaya hai…mera bas chale to main us Dev ko uske baap ke ssamne gadh doo"

Geet tried to calm Rahul by putting her hand on his shoulder – "Rahul please calm down"

But Rahul was raging and Chaiyiji's words had added fire to fuel – "Tu chup kar guddan…mujh se pooch kar Geet ne yeh step liya hai…aur woh Dev usko to main chodunga nahin…you know dad that Dev he misbehaved with Geet last year. At that time Geet had forgiven him because of this Mr. Kapoor. But look at his audacity, a week back when Geet had gone to Rewari, he tried to mix drug in her drink. Not only this, he misbehaved with her. Woh to acha hua wahan Maan pahunch gaya. God only knows what could have happened if he had not reached"

Geet was crying now whereas everyone was shocked to hear this.

Maan could not take it any more. Rahul's words brought back images of Dev and Geet. His rage was uncontrollable. He said emotionally - "You have no idea what went thru me when I saw that bast*** touching Geet. It was like a knife had been passed thru me. How can we tolerate something like this with someone we love? That Dog"

Rishab – "Please Maan…language"

Raj stopped Rishab and went around table to hug Geet – "Nahin Rishab…meri beti mera garoor hai…You three did right…I can't even imagine."

Raj's voice choked. He cupped Geet's face – "Pagli tu mujhe bol nahin sakti thi…tu fikar mat kar…I will talk to that man tomorrow myself…hmmm."

Geet smiled weekly. She calmed Rahul down but Maan was seething in anger. A fire was raging inside him. Maan st – "How can they embarrass my Mishti for someone else's fault. Us Dev ke liye…Chayiji ne kitna sunaya usko…meri Mishti ko…aur main kuch kar bhi nahin sakta"

Geet pleaded to him with her eyes to sit down and cool down. Geet st – "Maan ne to waise hi sab kuch bol diya…thanks Babaji no one noticed...ab baat kahin aage na badh jaye"

But Maan was no where calming down. He thought it was better to leave. He got up and just left without saying anything.

Geet – "Aap log khana khaiye…woh baad mein kha lenge"

Raj agreed to bring back the situation in control. Everyone had their dinner and retired to their rooms early. No one really liked the things Chayiji said but there was no use of crying over spilled milk.
