But Geet was not even flustered and answered back confidently – "For me love is more of an emotional state than physical. Physical is just a mean to express that mental state. He may have touched someone else but if he thought it was me then really in his mind it was me. He was still making love to me"

Thank you friends for such lovely comments and waiting for me. Well you can imagine my vacation with two kids at a children's resort….needed sleep yesterday night desperately.

So without further ado here is the next update…..Enjoy!!!!

Chapter 62 – Tu aashiqi hai

Next Day morning

Geet sighed as she stared at the file in her hand. They had left last evening from Dr Mehta's clinic with Maan almost carrying her while she wept in his arms pouring out all her pain on his shirt. Maan had sat with her in car waiting for her tears to dry and had left her at KM.

Her thoughts were broken by a call on her mobile. She picked it up seeing it was Dr Mehta who had called her.

Dr Mehta – "How are you Geet?"

"I am fine doctor uncle…thanks for everything…I feel relived and sincerely hope that things will be positive from now on"

"I am happy for you Geet. You two really love and care for each other. He just needs some self belief and love. I think finally cobwebs of guilt and shame have removed from his head. I will see him couple of times more to motivate him but more than anything else he needs you. You need to continue to support him and be positive about it…everything will be normal soon"

Geet once again thanked him and continued with her work.

Same Day Evening

Maan entered KM with a smile. Raj and Rishab exchanged a knowing glance as this was the first time they had seen him smiling since the fateful night.

Maan – "Good Evening everyone…I have something for you guys"

Saying this he placed plane tickets on the table.

Rahul – "Yeh kya hai Maan" He picked up the tickets. "Goa ki tickets?"

Maan – "Yes!!! I think we all need a break. So I am completely off this Saturday and Sunday. We all are going to Goa Saturday early morning. I have rented a cottage there for this weekend so that we can all unwind"

Juhi hugged Maan with tears in her eyes. "Maan beta…we are really sor…"

Maan hugged her back – "Shhh Mom…it's ok….I just thought we all need to step away for few days"

Annie jumped up in excitement – "oh Bhai….I am so super duper happy…ek din hai bas …God I need to do packing"

Everyone laughed and started planning immediately.

Maan glanced at Geet who stood with Pari and Annie discussing the dresses they need to pack. Her eyes met his as she looked at him. "I know I screwed big time Geet but I promise I will make it up to you. I hope this Goa trip will be a new start for us"

Saturday Morning

All were checking out and settling in 4 bedroom cottage Maan had booked. It was a lovely Victorian style cottage and little out of the main city.

Maan excused himself asking every one to freshen up and meet him at the backyard in few minutes as he has a surprise for everybody.

After 15 minutes

All opened the door and gasped looking at the private beach and blue waters beyond.

Pari – "Wow!!! This is beautiful…Maan has really outdone himself. How did he find this gem?"

Rahul – "Don't know but where the hell is he?"

They walked outside on the warm beach. Geet had a forlorn look on her face as she removed her sandals to feel the sand under her feet. It was a beautiful sight but somewhere all she yearned was her haven in Maan's arms. She stared at the beach when she heard strings of a guitar.

All turned to see Maan with a Guitar. Geet was surprised to see Adi and Pinky with him. They had three placards with each holding one. Adi – "I" Pinky – "Am" Maan – "Sorry"

They threw the placards down and Maan held his ears

Just then a plane flew by leaving behind color stream. It did some maneuvers to say "SORRY"

Everyone joined in the song jumping and dancing. Geet smiled as she knew this was all for her. She closed her eyes in contentment – "I have my Maan back…thanks Babaji…main bilkul bhi naaraz nahin hoon…how can I be? I love him and he loves me….i don't want anything more"

Har safar mein, har nazar mein

Maan came close to Geet and Geet felt his breath on her neck. She turned and looked at him. Maan was happy to see her smiling thru her lips and eyes. She swayed with the tune and sang with him.

Saturday Evening

Adi and Pinky had returned to Adi's parent's house. Rahul and Maan were setting up a beach volleyball net while Geet and Pari made tea and sandwiches and got it outside along with bear and coke. As Geet came out she gawked at shirtless Maan wearing only shorts. His muscles flexed as he tightened the rope. She almost tripped when Pari asked her –"Kya hua Geet"

"hmmm….kuch nahin."

She hurried to the big umbrella under which Juhi and Nisha were sitting avoiding to look at Maan. Raj, Rishab and Annie were playing in water.

Geet chanced to glance at Maan again and her breath hitched inside her throat. Days of distance, romantic setting and hot looking Maan was playing havoc on her senses. She placed everything on the mat trying to calm her nerves. She almost yelped as she felt him just behind her. "Hey beautiful…these sandwiches look yummm" He bent down grazing her waist with his arm as he took the sandwich from the plate. Geet felt dizzy inhaling his intoxicating sweat. He almost nuzzled her ears as he chewed on the sandwich "hmmm…yummm"

Geet was brought out of her thoughts when Nisha said – "Arre Geet…thoda sun cream laga le beta…your cheeks are getting all red due to sun"

Maan grinned as Geet got even more red. She took the sun cream and applied it trying to get some semblance of sanity back.

Maan continued his assault – "Chaliye sab…thoda volleyball ho jaye"

Juhi said – "Are na baba….humein to tum rehne hi do….you guys go"

Pari – "Woh mujhe bhi nahin aana…actually thoda thik nahin lag raha hai"

Geet frowned hearing this – "Kya hua Pari?"

Maan came closer – "What happened"

Pari – "Nahin Nahin asia kuch nahin, I guess I am just feeling little sick due to air travel….I am sure kal tak thik ho jayega"

Geet was not convinced with Pari's answer but left it at that. Maan suddenly grabbed her hand - "Chalo…tum to chalo"

Geet's skin burned where Maan had caught her. She felt incredibly shy and could not meet his gaze. She quietly nodded her head and went with him.

Rahul called others from the water and all six of them started playing. They built a sweat and Maan and Geet were aware of each other like anything. It was getting very hard for Geet to focus and she totally lost it when Maan winked at her while she was trying to serve.

Geet – "Guys I am tired and I give up." Annie – "Haan maine bhi paani mein khelna hai"

Saying this, the girls walked off leaving the boys behind for an intense match.

They spent entire evening talking, laughing and playing. Maan sighed with happiness as finally he closed his eyes for the day. His Mishti was laughing again. Sight of her smiling face had removed every burden from his heart. He felt relieved. "She loves me so much…I promise you Geet I will never hurt you again…I can do anything for that smile…I love you Jaan"
