Guys I am almost sure that my update below about Mehndi is quite unique….I was so excited when I wrote this because I have never read something like this before in any FF….Hope you guys like it as well….Enjoy!!!!

Chapter 52 - Mehndi

Same Night around 10:00 PM

Geet called Maan who was taking out his frustration in his excersise room.

Geet – "Abhi bhi gusse mein ho"

Maan – "Please Geet I am not in a mood to talk right now"

Geet – "Acha baba…mat baat karo….lekin please ek baar…mere kehne se back garden mein aa jao"

Maan – "Kyon…ek minute are you there"

Geet just cut the call. She knew he will come.

Geet had entered KH and went directly to the back garden. She sat by the pool side on the pool chair and had called Maan.

Maan came in the back garden and saw a beautiful angel sitting by pool side. Moon light falling on her silhouette was adding to the magic. Her hairs were flowing slightly with the breeze. Maan came closer and sat beside her.

Geet had a pout on her face – "Pata hai Maan aap bahut bure ho…mujhe kitni bhook lagi hai lekin aap ko to na meri koi fikar hi nahin"

Saying this she turned her head away. Maan smiled. He put a finger under her chin and made her look at him – "Aisa nahin hai Jaan…lekin main kya karoon…kitna sunaya tumhari chayiji ne and that too in front of everybody…I just can't bear it and on top of this I feel so useless…nahin saha jata"

Geet cupped his face – "Maan aap ko itna bura kyon lagta hai…wahan pe sirf meri family thi. Right…koi bhi paraya nahin tha…so why to feel shame in front of your own family…they asked, I clarified and dad also agreed with me…hai na…ab chado yeh sab…aap na bilkul dusht danav wale angry man ban jate ho gusse mein…now be my jaanu…" saying this she pulled his cheeks.

Maan – "Geet!!! Gal chodo mere…main kya koi bacha hoon"

Geet – "Kya karoon mere liye to aap mein hi saare rang dikhte hain…yeh wala bhi"

Maan smiled at her comment. He shook his head at purity of her thoughts.

Geet uncovered the plates on the tray she had kept on side. Geet – "Maine aap ke liye itna kuch banaya aur aapne khaya bhi nahin. Aisa bilkul bhi nahin chalne wala hai…samjhe app."

She took a fork of pasta and gave to Maan – "Lijiye"

Maan bent and ate from her hand. Then he took a fork and fed her. They had bread, soup and pasta feeding each other.

Maan – "Geet bahut acha bana hai…wow…it is amazing…tumhare haath mein jaadu hai…shayad itna pyaar se banati ho isiliye."

Saying this he held her hands and kissed it. Geet blushed at the compliment. "Maan, aap bhi na…kuch bhi bolte ho"

Then she uncovered the only plate left in the tray. Maan's eyes twinkled at the sight of Tiramisu.

Maan was amazed at his Mishti's talent – "Geet kya koi cheez hai jo tumhe nahin banati aati"

Geet – "Bahut sari hain lekin aap ke liye main sab seekh lungi"

Maan smiled mischievously – "Sach…sab seekh logi hmmm"

Geet blushed at his naughty voice – "Maan!!! Khayiye nahin to main jaa rahi hoon"

Maan took a bite and moaned with pleasure – "hmmm….it is heavenly."

Geet – "Sachi"

Maan – "Muchi"

She took spoon from him and took a bite. She made an expression of appreciation – "Sach Maan kafi acha ban gaya na pehli baar ke liye….I toh just experimented from a recipe book"

Geet took another bite. Maan leaned in and kissed her lips which tasted of coffee and wine.

Geet felt shy and pushed him away – "Behave Maan…kisi ne dekh liya to…dinner ke liye to bahana bana sakti hoon main iske liye nahin"

Maan – "Acha hi hoga…finally they will get some sense…puri duniya mein ladki dhoondte firte hain jab ki sab se achi unke apne ghar mein hain"

Geet was exasperated – "Maan!!!!"

Wednesday 6:00 PM

Whole house hold was busy in final preparations of Karwachauth. It was always a grand affair but this time was extra special as it was Pari's first. Raj and Rishab had got the whole KM decorated as per Pari's and Rahul's likings. Juhi, Nisha and Geet were busy in kitchen making sure all was ready. Annie was in charge of all beauty and getting ready stuff. Pari had strict instructions to relax as this was her first time. Maan had kept himself distant after last Wednesday's talks. Naintara and Chayiji were just enjoying.

Annie was rallying after all women to get in the cars for Mehndi. "Aap log kitna late kar rahe ho…maine kitni mushkil se appointment liya hai…jaldi karo…Geet Di aap bhi chalo na."

Geet never participated in rituals before and did not want to make things obvious. "Main kya karoongi"

Pari – "Kya karogi matlab…arre mehndi lagwane ja rahe hain to tum bhi lag wa lo"

Naintara – "Are ab late nahin ho rahe kya…use chodo who aisi hi hai"

Geet hurriedly got up – "Chalo is baar main bhi chalti hoon…after all it is Pari's first Karwachauth"

All the girls were busy in choosing their designs. Pari was getting her's done in an elaborate fashion and was discussing where to put Rahul's name.

Geet st – "mujhe bhi Maan ka naam likhwana hai….jhalli ho gayi hai Geet…Maan ka naam likhwana hai….Hindi English to chod, yahan to sab ko Punjabi bhi padni aati hai"

She thought for a while and got an idea. She whispered to the girl who was getting things ready for her mehndi – "Suniye…who aapko Urdu likhni aati hai?"

Girl was surprised – "Urdu!!!...karwachauth ka vrat rakh rahi ho aur Urdu?'

Geet said shyly – "Shhh dheere bolo na…who mujhe kisi ka naam likhwana tha"

Girl smiled – "ok…abhi aaya samajh….mujhe to nahin aati par ruko"

She went to the girl who was going to start mehndi on Annie's hands. "Raziya…yaar main yeh karti hoon…woh neele kurti wali ko kuch Arabic design cahiye to tu jaake laga de"

Raziya looked quizzically at her coworker but then smiled after she told her the reason in her ear.

Raziya went to Geet – "Kya naam likhna hai"

Geet said slowly – "Maan Singh Khurana"

Raziya smiled – "Itna bada….pura haath naam se bhar jaana hai"

Geet – "wahi to main cahti hoon"

Raziya smiled and put mehndi on her hand making an intricate Arabic style design writing Maan's name.

Geet blushed looking at her hands decorated with her love.
