IF SRGMP Feedback - Round 1

Hello all mentors, participants and audience of IF SRGMP 😛

As all the gharanas have submitted the songs for first round, here is the feedback thread for posting the valuable feedback for the contestants... Please do give your honest feedback, so the contestants can improve based on the comments... 😳

In this feedback thread, we have tried to follow a theme... The theme is the five elements of universe that is air, water, sky, earth and fire... As we cannot represent air, have taken the other four for representing each gharana 😊 So, you can see, each gharana is given one element and the siggy is prepared based on this theme 😃 Will try to follow each theme for every round for exciting contest ahead 😉

ok, i was impatient to hear ani's song but the link thats provided under 'rangeela re' isn't what it is... it's actually the link of her previous song ' aaee khushi ki hai ye raat aaeee'. so can you please update...thanks in advance.😃

3rd song that i clicked which worked was Phuppu's. Phuppu, awesome job! were you trying to control your voice? because the sentence ' peele isse, ismein nasha' has a lot power in it which was lacking in your rendition... other than that it was a bit shaky in couple place but rest was good. keep it up phuppu, khandaan ka naam roshan kariye😉😆

My comments will be updated here. These are completely my views. I understand its just first round, however I would give the opinion as if its semifinals 😉😆:

Arun sampath: Your voice quality is really strong. You were really good with the surs. I felt you sung the song well but could not sing the lyrics. Your voice remained strong through out the song, whereas a soft touch was required for few words like na jaa. That touch would have made the song a playback material. Overall very good.

Lavanya: I felt that you are comfortable with song selection, however this format is not. The song does not leave much impact without background music. A little bit of pranayam in yoga will help with the continuity of surs. Especially the recital of Om until last breath.

Summer: Mukhada was good but you really were off sur in antara completely. You need to work out a lot. May be you are not used to so slowpaced songs. I am not sure.

The_charm: The song sounded flat without music. I felt you should try to finish song with softness to bring that romantic feel to such songs with real pakka surs. Your voice quality is awesome and can do wonders with help of surs and finishing.

Minirulz: Overall the song was really good. You have a lot of control on surs though there was occasional slip. I felt you can give better finishing to some words like "Chupke se".

Tabu: I thought you sang the song slightly faster than it is actually. You also went short of breath a few times. I think you have submitted earlier version when you were practicing? But you have good potential

Coollama (Nik): I cd nt make mind based on small clip on youshare so downloaded song. I am thankful I did it. You have definitely improved than your last outing. Your surs have got more clarity than earlier. It's the best I heard till now.

Suhana: Wonderful mindblowing rendition 👏
