Bigg Boss Tamil fame Samyuktha Shan weds Aniruda Srikkanth; actor begins new chapter with Kris Srikkanth’s son

Bigg Boss Tamil 4 contestant and actress Samyuktha Shanmughanathan, popularly known as Samyuktha Shan, tied the knot for the second time on November 27, 2025. She married former cricketer and commentator Aniruda Srikkanth, the son of 1983 World Cup winner Kris Srikkanth, in a traditional ceremony that she shared with her fans on social media.

Samyuktha made her union official with a post featuring glimpses from the wedding. The actress wore a gold-colored saree with minimal jewelry, while Aniruda complemented her look with a traditional gold-colored shirt and veshti. Both appeared joyous as they exchanged vows in the intimate ceremony. Several industry colleagues sent their wishes, including Sneha, who commented, “Congratulations darling... soooo happy for you,” along with messages from Aishwarya Rajesh and Manjima Mohan.

Samyuktha Shan gained prominence through her stint on Bigg Boss Tamil 4 and has since appeared in several films. She was seen in Varisu alongside Thalapathy Vijay, playing the role of his sister-in-law, and was paired opposite actor Shaam. Other projects include Tughlaq Durbar with Vijay Sethupathi, My Dear Bhootham, and Coffee with Kadhal. Outside acting, she is an entrepreneur and maintains an active presence on social media.

This marks Samyuktha’s second marriage; she was previously married to Dubai-based businessman Karthik Shankar. The union ended after she discovered he had allegedly been living with another woman for over four years. She shares a son, Rayan, with her ex-husband.

Aniruda Srikkanth, a former professional cricketer, played in the Indian Premier League for Chennai Super Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad. After retiring from cricket, he transitioned into commentary and has appeared as a match commentator. This is also his second marriage, following his previous union with model and actress Arthi Venkatesh.

With both coming from public profiles in sports and entertainment, the couple’s wedding has captured attention online, marking a new chapter in their personal lives while bridging the worlds of cricket and cinema.
