Dazed and disoriented she walked around the bar looking for someone, anyone to get her mind off him.
"I love you baby." He whispered into her ears.
"I love you more." She brushed his hair with her fingers and kissed his nose.
She took more shots to erase his memory but the amount of alcohol in her system didn't help her at all. Everywhere she looked, she found him. Every guy that approached her resembled him.
"I'll never leave you because I love you like crazy. Life is incomplete without you babe." He cradled her in his arms and pulled her closer.
"Promise? You won't ever leave me?" She extended her hand and held it out for him.
"Cross my heart and hope to die." He grabbed her hand and kissed her passionately.
No matter how hard she tried the memories kept coming back. It was as if they'd decided they'll leave her only after she loses her mind. She looked around the dance floor for a distraction.
"Hey gorgeous! Want to dance?" A guy in his mid-twenties asked her. She looked at him and noticed his pink polo shirt.
"There is no way I'm wearing a pink shirt." He huffed at her in frustration.
"Please, for me?" She pleaded and he immediately grabbed the pink polo shirt from her hands.
"Fine." He announced angrily and put it on.
"Trust me it looks good on you." She smiled at him and pecked his lips softly. Holding her waist and caressing her back he said, "If wearing a pink polo can garner me so much affection from you I'll wear it every day."
She laughed at his mischievousness and lightly pushed him, "Shush behave."
"No I can't dance with you. I don't like your shirt." She rambled leaving the guy confused and walked away muttering a quick apology.
How did she reach this unknown place? She was happy few days ago, living her life but today she was lost. Sure there were people around her enjoying at the bar but where was she? She couldn't find herself. Was he that important? Would she never move on?
She grabbed a random guy on the dance floor and pushed her body against his.
"Baby why are you mad?" She questioned him but he wouldn't look at her. She placed her palm on his cheeks and made him look at her. "What is wrong?" She asked him for the hundredth time.
"You danced with that guy." He finally spoke.
"So?" She questioned.
He held her hands. "I don't like it. I don't like it when some other guy touches you. You are mine only mine." He answered protectively.
Letting out a sigh she assured him, "Ofcourse baby I'm all yours."
"He doesn't like it when I dance with someone else." She mumbled.
"What?" The guy asked her as he couldn't hear her over the loud music.
She pushed him away and yelled, "He won't like it if he finds out that I danced with you."
The guy shrugged his shoulders and moved on to the next girl.

Jeevika found her sitting on a bar stool sipping wine. "What are you doing here all by yourself?"
She looked up to acknowledge Jeevika then went back to drawing patterns on her wine glass. Suddenly the DJ changed the song to best love song by T-Pain.
She jumped up in excitement, "Did you hear that Jeevi? He loves this song, its his favorite."
Soon she realized what she said and the song constantly reminded her of him.
"Baby I'm tired. I can't dance anymore." She started to walk away from the dance floor.
He grabbed her waist and pleaded, "Please a little bit longer." He'd almost given up and they were about to leave the dance floor when the DJ played his favorite song.
Turn up the bass, turn up the treble. I'm about to take it to a whole 'nother level. Dj turn off what you are playin, I want the whole club to hear what I'm sayin. Because this girl means so much to me, and now we are on the floor and she touchin me.
He grabbed her yet again and pulled her on the dance floor. "It is my favorite song, you can't leave now!" He whined.
She laughed at his childishness and let him guide her back to the dance floor.
"It's gotta be the crunkest. It's gotta be the loudest. It's gotta be the best, the best love song she ever heard in her life." He sang along with everybody else on the dance floor and spun her around.
She couldn't take it any longer. Her head was throbbing and she was suffocating. She needed to get out of the place, the song was killing her. It was his favorite. All the memories of him blurred her vision, she couldn't hear or see anything else.
She rushed out of the bar blocking her ears with her fingers. Jeevika too followed her outside.

"Are you alright?" Jeevika slowed down after she spotted Manvi standing under a tree and inquired.
"Do you know he loved nature. He loved being outside. We would go to the park and stay there all day long." She spoke looking at the tree.
"No don't stop." He whined and placed her hand back on his forehead.
They were enjoying their time together under the shade of a tree. While she was reading a book and occasionally caressing his forehead, he laid on the grass with his head on her lap.
"Virat stop being such a baby." She scolded.
After hearing her voice he smiled and grabbed her hands, "Really now? I'm acting like a child?"
She knew his intentions so she laughed and tried to move but he didn't let her. Instead he grabbed her by her waist and rolled on top of her. Kissing her eyelids he tickled her.
"Stop Please." She giggled.
"Stop doing this to yourself Manvi. Snap out of it." Jeevika tried to reason with her.
"He asked me to marry him. It was so beautiful that day." She continued without paying attention to Jeevika.
"Manvi keep your eyes shut." He warned.
"Virat I'll trip." She frowned and he couldn't resist kissing her frown away. "I'll never let you trip baby. I got you."
He finally gave her permission to open her eyes.
The scenery in front of her was breathtaking. A beautiful park with flowers everywhere, a waterfall, a huge canopy tree and to top it all it was time for sunset. The orange hues of the sunset made everything look even more magnificent.
"It is beautiful." She managed to whisper.
He hugged her from behind. "Not as beautiful as you baby."
She looked at him lovingly and was about to say something when he got on his knees and pulled out a beautiful ring. "I love you Manvi and I always will. I promise to take care of you, to be there for you as long as I live. I'll never leave you. Please make me the luckiest man on earth and marry me?"
She was left speechless by his proposal and she couldn't utter a word. All she managed was a nod and after that he quickly slid the ring on her finger.
"He lied. He is a liar."With tears in her eyes she looked at Jeevika.
