Sussanne Khan remembers mother Zarine Khan four months after her passing, shares emotional throwback photos

Entrepreneur and interior designer Sussanne Khan recently shared an emotional note as she remembered her mother, Zarine Khan, four months after her passing. Posting a series of throwback photographs from her childhood and younger years, Sussanne reflected on the bond they shared and the influence her mother had on her life.

The post included several personal memories and images from different stages of her life. Through the message, Sussanne spoke about the role her mother played in shaping her personality and outlook. She wrote about how the lessons and support she received while growing up continue to guide her even today.

Recalling those early years, she wrote, “To the most Epic growing up years… filled with immense love and super hearted humans… Mummsy you make me the person i am.. And you taught me to wear that metal jacket through the toughest times, The grace to stay invincible and the love that empowered my little heart to dare to dream the impossible dream… no matter what the tide brings in. I pray every girl child has a mother as glorious as you…(sic).”

Her message also highlighted how her mother encouraged strength and confidence during difficult phases. According to Sussanne, those lessons helped her face challenges with courage. The emotional post drew responses from friends and followers who offered support and shared messages remembering Zarine Khan.

Earlier this year, Sussanne had also shared another note thanking her mother for shaping the person she has become. While travelling to Phuket with close friends and family members, she wrote about feeling her mother’s presence even after her passing. In that message she said, “To me it’s Mother Ocean… thank you Mummsy for giving me your genetic code to be the person i am… your always with me everywhere and in everything i do.. from here till eternity u live on through my eyes…my Angel Mummsy.”

Zarine Khan passed away on November 7 last year at the age of 81 due to age related health issues. She is survived by her husband Sanjay Khan and their children Zayed Khan, Sussanne Khan, Farah Khan Ali and Simone Arora. Her family members have continued to remember her through personal tributes and memories shared on social media.
