In US last night's episode, Pia looked so calm and wanted to go out to celebrate Anand's birthday. They seemed so happy while chatting in the restaurant. Is it really that easy to forgive your spouse/partner for cheating? Let me know your views.

I concurr somewhat with the views of Memsaab. YOu may forgive your spouse, but you may never forget their infedilities...

But to forgive your spouse takes a great effort on the part of the wife especially in a situation in which Piya is today. The emotional maturity and the mental strength of a particular individual decides or works in matters of forgiving and forgetting.

It all depends on what you want at the end of it. If you want to get your 'love' back into the marriage, you will try your best to make it work. Piya must have thought that to herself. It is defintely not easy... I doubt if she can revive the same intensity in the relationship that easily. It all takes time, but the other person also has to show the same amount of effort to make this work. That is when the effect of Piya's efforts will bear true meaning and Piya will be able to forgive. She will not forget, but she needs to get the feeling that Anand will not do this again. She will forgive, if Anand starts to behave normal ( which this confused lunatic will not 😡

I agree with you guys. It's easy to forgive but not to forget. There is nothing like the pain caused by an unfaithful spouse.

Pia is really a woman of substance. She is trying really hard to revive her relationship with Anand by spending more time with him. May be she doesn't want him to have thoughts about Ratna by giving him the silent treatment or ignoring him. So she is trying to break that barrier fast. Hope he understands her efforts and stop his philandering.

No its not at all easy to forgive...especially it depends on the situation.......but i think pia should not forgive him.....i wouldnt if i was in pia situation.....it is very hard to forget wht happ between thm n all these things will come up in life......n we hve to show the guys tht we can stand up for wht we think is right.....n to make thm realise how much it hurts whn u r betrayed n we womens of today arent weak.

forgetting is hard thn forgiving....but it all depends on the situation😃

n wat anand has done it will always be a hinderance in their happily married life some where or the other(but that is if they stay together otherwise to koi gall hi ni hai)

Piya tries to forgive Anand for it, and thinks he will rebuild their relationship if she does this. Hence although Anand should be making the amends she takes the first step to move on and give him a second chance. But , as Anand says or does something that twists the knife a little bit more. It is not easy to forgive or forget in her case.

When one is betrayed because they've been cheated on, it's really hard to forgive but if can muster the courage to do that you can never forget the pain that have been bestowed upon you by someone you trusted to be yoursoulmate and to look after you.

Well as everyone said, its easy to forgive but not forget. This is very true. But, forgiveness and even forgetting can both come with time and effort, as long as the effort is from both sides.

In this case, Piya is trying her best to revive the relationship and work towards a solution, but it seems as though Anand can forget Ratna but doesnt want to. It looks like he is not ready for any compromise. He wants to keep both women and wants to continue with what he has been doing in the past 2 years. So I think, it will be very difficult for Piya to forgive, let alone forgetting the whole situation.

Yes, if Anand keeps doing it then Pia will neither forgive him and nor forget it..However, if he mends his ways and be a dedicated husband forgetting Ratna, then Pia might be able to forgive him, but I doubt if she will forget it..
