As the ongoing controversy around The 50 intensifies, actor Soniya Bansal has publicly come out in support of Khanzaadi, at a time when the latter is being criticised online for allegedly character assassinating fellow contestant Chahat Pandey. Soniya believes the accusations against Khanzaadi are unfair and based on an incomplete narrative.

Speaking strongly in Khanzaadi’s defence, Soniya pointed out that viewers are not being shown the full context of the situation. According to her, only half of the story has been presented to the audience, which has led to misplaced blame and judgment. She stressed that reactions cannot be understood unless the triggers and provocations behind them are also shown. In her view, without complete context, conclusions being drawn against Khanzaadi are premature and unfair.

I have known Khanzaadi since Bigg Boss, and she has always been real, under 24x7 cameras, without filters. That truth doesn’t change. What changed in The 50 is editing

“What Changed Is Editing, Not Her Reality”

Soniya further referenced Khanzaadi’s journey in Bigg Boss, where she was under constant 24x7 camera surveillance. “I have known Khanzaadi since Bigg Boss, and she has always been real, under 24x7 cameras, without filters. That truth doesn’t change. What changed in The 50 is editing!,” Soniya said. She added that such authenticity cannot disappear suddenly, questioning how the same person is now being portrayed in a completely different light.

According to Soniya, what has changed in The 50 is not Khanzaadi’s personality, but the way the footage is edited. She expressed concern that selective editing is creating misleading narratives that are harming Khanzaadi’s image. By highlighting this contrast, Soniya implied that the portrayal currently on display may not fully reflect the events in the show.

A Call for Fairness and Complete Context

Ending her statement on a hopeful note, Soniya wished Khanzaadi strength and resilience. “Hope she rises above these narratives. Truth always outlives manufactured perceptions! More power to you Khanzaadi,” she said.

Soniya’s statement has resonated with many fans, who are now urging the makers to show the complete picture and allow viewers to form opinions based on facts rather than fragments. As debates around The 50 continue to dominate online conversations, her support has added a new dimension to the controversy, shifting the focus to the role of editing and narrative framing in shaping public perception.
