Actor Sreeleela has officially added a new title to her name. The 24 year old has completed her medical degree from DY Patil University in Mumbai after spending six years balancing academics with a full fledged film career. Images and videos from her convocation on February 10 are now circulating online, with fans celebrating what many are calling an extraordinary achievement.
Clad in maroon robes, she was seen walking up to the stage to receive her degree before sharing an emotional moment with her family. In another clip, she stood alongside her classmates as they took a modern version of the Hippocratic Oath, smiling as the batch was declared doctors.

Sreeleela’s journey has drawn attention not just because she graduated, but because of the timing. Over the past few years, she has worked steadily across Telugu and Kannada cinema while continuing her MBBS. Social media reactions quickly followed, with users questioning how she managed film shoots, public appearances and medical exams at the same time.

Her mother, Swarnalatha, is a gynaecologist based in Bengaluru. Even as her acting career expanded, she chose not to abandon her academic path.
A Film Career That Kept Growing
Sreeleela began her acting journey with Chitrangada in 2017 before taking on a lead role in the Kannada film Kiss in 2019. The same year, she appeared in Bharaate. She later featured in Telugu films such as Dhamaka, Bhagavanth Kesari and Guntur Kaaram, sharing screen space with Ravi Teja, Balakrishna and Mahesh Babu. She also appeared in the special number Kissik from Pushpa 2: The Rule.
In 2025, she starred in Robinhood, Junior and Mass Jathara. This year marked her Tamil debut with Parasakthi. She is now preparing for her Hindi debut in an Anurag Basu film alongside Kartik Aaryan. Upcoming projects include Ustaad Bhagat Singh with Pawan Kalyan and a film with Dhanush and Sai Pallavi.
With an MBBS degree secured and multiple film industries on her resume, Sreeleela’s path continues to expand in more ways than one.
