Rajsekhar, who played Subba Reddy in Pushpa: The Rise and Pushpa 2: The Rule, shared a video on social media defending Allu Arjun. In his post, he strongly criticised what he called fake propaganda and cheap publicity tactics. He said he had spent nearly four years working alongside the National Award-winning actor and found him nothing but respectful and grounded.

In the video, Rajsekhar offered a simple example from their time on set. During breaks, snacks were often distributed in large containers for the crew. While many actors have assistants who bring food separately, he said Allu Arjun would casually eat alongside spot boys and crew members without hesitation. According to him, that alone speaks volumes about the actor’s humility.

He also dismissed the idea that Allu Arjun would demand people avoid eye contact or refuse handshakes. Rajsekhar added that the star makes it a point to greet every artist and technician on set and even apologises if he accidentally misses wishing someone.

The debate began after brand strategist Kaveri Baruah claimed on a podcast that she was handed a document listing 42 rules before meeting Allu Arjun. She alleged that South stars often arrive with large teams and strict protocols, adding that she was told not to look directly into his eyes or initiate a handshake.

Her remarks quickly went viral, drawing mixed reactions online. Soon after, Allu Arjun’s team issued a statement denying the claims and calling them unfounded. They also confirmed legal action against the strategist. The podcast episode was later taken down, with the podcaster alleging harassment from the actor’s team.
