Part 19

Next morning both of them woke up with bliss, still living in the earlier moment. Raashi had started her day and was ready to leave to see her saas. When arjun came down leaping down the stairs whistling, she sensed he was too happy that day and was back to being the same arjun she knew before he fell in love with arohi. Arohi too looked very different to her, both were stealing glances at bfast and smiling. Raashi went upstairs again to get her bags. Arjun quickly came near arohi , who freaked out , she feared he might do the same he did last night and quickly stood up 'raashi's here' she said, 'let her be', he said following her to the kitchen , 'and don't freak out, she knows already' 'whattt?' 'yeah, she knew before you knew' he gave a sheepish smile, Arohi could not believe it 'omg , how will I face her now' 'what is she? a monster or something who will pounce on you ?, she will be happy. and I guess by now she must be knowing abt you also' 'no way I did not tell anyone' 'but you were giving those gorgeous smiles, which is making it obvious and which is also making me somewhat ..' he came closer to her 'arjun' she stopped him 'whatever happened yday night ..' 'yeah' 'I mean we should not .. I mean I am not '.' Arjun understood what she wanted to say. He gave a quick peck on her cheek, 'it will be hard, but understood and noted I can wait'. Arohi gave him another thank you smile. Just then raashi came down and arohi moved away from arjun but a little late, raashi saw them standing close by and smiling 'caught you ' she said loudly and came down hurriedly to hug arohi. 'I am sooo happy for you two' she said 'so shall I start calling you bhabhi ?' arjun raised his thumb as approval. Arohi was unable to react immediately, she blushed on raashi's actions 'no arohi is fine' she said and again blushed when raashi said 'ooo bhabhi is feeling shy. hmmm let me decide who is lucky my brother or you' then she added 'obviously my brother, he is lucky to have gotten a girl like you' arjun took a bow 'I am honored' both brother and sister were making arohi dumbfound and making her blush over and again. 'I have to tell daadi the good news ' raashi said 'daadi?' questioned arohi 'yeah she was the first one to know' arjun admitted. God this was getting more awkward. And also the fact that they will be alone for next 3-4 days was making her nervous but not unhappy.

Arjun had to drop off arohi first and then raashi to the train station, she insisted he need not drive all the way to her inlaws place. Before raashi left she told arjun 'don't get too naughty, she is such a sweet girl' 'will try and thank you' he said.

It was a new feeling each moment for both of them. They went out that evening. She was getting used to the fact of being in love, it was an instinct , it just brought about the warmth in whatever she did and said. He took her around , had dinner outside, they just talked laughed and sometimes just stared in silence and then laughed at it also. Since they were outside and also arohi had requested arjun was behaving. But once they came home, it was hard for him to keep quiet. He caught her arm as they got in, and got her close.

In the middle of the night arohi woke up feeling warm, she opened a window and let the breeze in, that is when she heard someone snore softly. She opened her door and peeked only to see arjun sleeping on the couch with a magazine still open lying on his chest. She walked to him. He looked too cute to her snoring and deep in sleep. He looked like a kid. She took the magazine out slowly and put it aside, put a throw on him so he cld snuggle. Raashi was wrong, he is not the lucky one she is , she felt like caressing his hair but did not want to disturb him. She remembered the feeling of his lips as she saw his face, she blushed just by the thought of it. She remembered how he said 'and there it is' two nights ago touching her cheek when she blushed. She remembered his drunk confession, when she remembered his closeness while they kissed last night she felt a sensation pass through her. if only he was awake and saw her then , he would not have let her go for a long time. As much as she sat there and saw him she felt many things than just caressing his hair. To save herself from doing something drastic she kissed his forehead and without looking back went into her room. That was the first time ever she had initiated something bold. Her heart beating fast she had to take a pillow as a support to help her sleep again. Their love for each other was matching.

Next day they went out again, he took her shopping. While she bought things for guddi again, he noticed she wasn't buying much for herself. Without her knowing he did some shopping for her. He bought a blue suit with mirror work for her and knew exactly when she should wear it. She wanted to spend more time outside since she knew what would happen if they got back into the privacy of their home. But how long could she delay. And with arjun's driving, they were home before they knew it. Starngely he went up first with all the stuff he had bougth, she did not know he wanted to set them aside before she sees it. By the he came back she was in her room changing. He waited for a few minutes and looked if there was any dessert in the fridge. By then arohi came out , face freshly wahed and changed into her pj's . Forget dessert 'raashi not being here is such a boon' he said going close to her. when he was done getting his dessert from her she complained 'you never listen to anyone, you promised something to me' 'I am, you are finding the difference, be in my shoes and see, you will see how hard it is' he said 'we are not married yet' 'oh we are not doing anything married ppl do' he said and bit his tongue seeing the angry expression on her face 'sorry' he said again but with the same naughty smile. She could not help but smile looking at him. 'you did a lot of shopping today, what did u buy' he asked wanting to make her feel normal. She started listing and in the middle she remembered she had not spoken to guddi yesterday and today. She immediately got up to get her phone and called her aunt's house. ' I was about to call you' bua said 'it is not likely of you to not call so was getting worried' arohi felt guilty 'I was a little busy' with arjun , 'no problem guddi is fine, she is eagerly waiting for you, what time are you reaching home' 'mostly Saturday night' then after speaking to guddi she felt relieved but still guilty.

Arjun had started watching news. He saw her face go sullen and enquired what happened. She said she cant believe she forgot to talk to her sister and that she felt guilty. He said it is just one day and it is allowed to forget sometimes, she should not worry too much. She felt better after a while. He took her hand into his and said 'arohi I want to talk to you about something' 'yeah' 'not now, when we come home tomorrow' 'what is it about?' 'something very important, after I pick you up ..' 'oh tomorrow workshop ends couple of hours early and I am going out with a friend, I met her in the workshop, she wants to buy some activity toys for her daughter and asked me to go with , I was going to let u know' 'hmm, okay so where shall I pick you up' 'she will drop me home, she lives in Bombay so she is fine with it' he thought for a while 'okay, I will finish off some pending things too, so we can leave home Saturday, dad wanted some more stuff to be taken care of' it was like slowly they were returning back to their worlds, the two weeks had flown by like 2 days but were the most important days of their lives. They just sat hand in hand watching tv. Then he suddenly turned it off and took her in his arms 'promise me that it will be the same when we get back home' he said the change in his form made her fall on him and hold on to him, 'promise me' he repeated 'promise' she whispered and tried to get up, he got up along with her and holding her waist pulled her closer. It was with the same intensity in the eyes as the night she had confessed. She could feel his love from his eyes surround her all over. This was the kind of moment she feared. ' I got something for you, and you will have to wear it for me tomorrow evening, when we have the most important moment of our lives' 'what' she heard only half of it, he repeated. 'what is it?' 'you will know when u come home tomorrow' 'good night' she said leaving to go 'whats the hurry, clearly we are not sleepy' he said holding her back. After a few endearing sweet moments he finally let her go.

Once in his room, arjun took out the suit he had got for her, tomorrow before leaving the house somehow he has to keep it in her room so she will find it when she comes back. it will look 100 times beautiful if she wears it. He was sure of her answer to his question but he still wanted to ask. Saturday he had planned a long drive before reaching home, he will stop at places and make the trip longer. Once they reach home, he knew she will get more busy and he will too, so he wanted to make best use of the little time that was left now.

Both did not know arohi's decision of going out with the friend the next day and raashi's absence was going to change her answer and shatter them both.
