Lovedeep was in deep thoughts, daadi had called her and asked she wanted to talk to her in person. Since the time she had seen Arjun , bua had a feeling that he is a right person for arohi. But convincing arohi to even think about something like that was a tough task. When arjun's daadi called her that she wanted to meet her, she was not that surprised, it has to do something with arohi definitely. She prayed to god that her wish be granted , that her promise to amrit , before she died , about making sure arohi is married and has a life of her own , comes true. There cannot be any better match than the singhania's , but is it all so easy? What if like the previous alliances they refuse to take guddi in ? she is ready to keep guddi with her, but arohi wont agree to that. She is not even completely happy about leaving guddi with her for 2 weeks. Singhania's seem to be the nicest of the people but still she has to make sure of all that before even talking to arohi about this.
Daadi finally came and after the initial round of general talks , she finally came to the main point. She wanted to know more about arohi. She came to know that arohi's paternal family had cut ties with her and that arohi had promised her parent's , who had met with an accident , that she will take care of guddi forever and will not leave her at any cost. Armit's brother and his wife , bua , were the ones that stood by her. bua continued 'I may not be bloodrelated to arohi, but I have seen the kids since they were born, I have seen them grow, when arohi promised her parents that she will take care of her sister forever, amrit made me promise her that I will convince arohi to marry and lead a life, and I tried my best but arohi is not ready to agree to anyone' 'why?' daadi asked, 'arohi was 8 when guddi was born and as time went by she became her godmother, she was a sensible kid from the beginning and now she only became more mature than her age, she became this protective shield for her sister, she confronted people who made fun of her sister, she made sure guddi is seen in public and accepted by public, took her with her everywhere, whatever guddi knows now is taught by arohi. Even then when any rishta came for arohi they would refuse upon knowing she had a mentally retarded sister, her parents once tried to hide that fact and go ahead, but arohi refused, when the boy's parents came to know about that they asked million questions they doubted if arohi had similar streaks and then arohi herself called them and said she did not want to marry their son. She was just 21 that time. Since then she is against marriage, since she fears people may accept her first but then they will not love guddi as she does and may ask her to separate from her sister, which she wont do , so her solution is not to marry at all, and not to allow a third person in their life' bua felt suddenly contented, she wanted to talk about all this to someone.
Daadi was touched at arohi's story. Bua continued 'when her parents died, the business was already running in losses and the mill was closed, arohi wanted to work but where will she leave guddi, I was ready but she said taking care daily will put a toll on me and she wanted a permanent solution for this, she did some consultation and decided to open a school, many families in the town supported her, she got the necessary degree, we appled for loan, and started a small school. Since the town is a center place , many parents found it easy to put their special kids in our school and she is still working towards its improvement' . Daadi was proud like arohi was her own daughter. She wanted to hug her and say , we are with you too, she knew Arjun. He was the right person for arohi, he will keep her happy. His cheerful nature will make the girl's life more pretty. She told bua that she thinks arjun might have taken a liking to arohi and she wanted bua to find out if arohi will consider it too. She was glad that she spoke to bua . Bua was more than glad, she was beyond happy, this is exactly what she wanted to hear, now she knew arjun is inclined towards aro . If only she can make arohi feel the same then it wont be difficult to get them married. That should happen naturally, arohi should herself feel it or else it will not work. Bua wanted to make sure arohi meets arjun few more times, maybe that will easen the things to some extent.
Arjun continued to work with his dad and jignesh on further details, managers were hired, raw material was being bought , work was progressing very fast, people who priorly worked there and were laid off, were called back. There was a busy buzz going on in the town. Arohi was busy with the practice sessions at school. It was hard to make the kids coordinate , they took forever to move from side to side in sync. Still it was all worth it. She called the institution in mumbai to find out if they have boarding arrangements made for the candidates attending the workshop, but they did not have, they did suggest some places where she can find an accommodation. She was left in dilemma .
Finally it was school day, a year was completed , the events were starting at 3.30 . and the parents and guests were arriving one by one, a fake stage was arranged and chairs put out under a big tent . All the kids were super excited to wear costumes and jewellery, they repeated words after their teachers. It was time to start with a formal round of speeches. Arjun and raashi arrived. Jay , sanchit and arjun sat in the back , bua gave company to raashi. Arjun was waiting eagerly to see arohi . It had been almost 3 days and not a sight of her still. She finally came on the stage along with couple of her collegues and the chief guest dr. dixit . he was stunned to see her , she was wearing a light orange saree with brown print. All he could see on the stage was just her . How beautiful she looked, wish he could sit in the front row and look at her closely, but it was occupied by teachers and some parents. And being so tall it is better he stays in the back. She looked nervous to him, if only he can hold her hand and assure everything will be allright. Well he can dream that she is next to him, a smile creeped up when he thought of this. Then he realized in his trail of thoughts he had missed the initial opening speeches, luckily arohi was yet to talk since dr. dixit was finishing and praising arohi and asking her to come and say a few words.
