No he's not gonna use Geet. Sure he might pretend and tell her that she did not do her job right so she will have to play his fiance and this way he can keep her from leaving. Now after looking at today's promo and pics uploaded on GEET page, if they are going to sleep together or definitely become intimate on some level then he knows she wants him and whatever it is that is making her deny him, he might promise himself to get to the bottom of it. Aditi...I hope i did not offend you with this topic...that was not my intention. I was mere groping with a niggling thought in my head that made be question whether he may be using Geet for his own gains....to please daadi ma. I know that he is utterly in love with her.....and will do anything to keep her with him...and that many times his Anger gets the best of him and he says hurtful things...but it is HE who always helps her and saves her too...

I made this post as strictly a discussion point so that we all can delve into What is driving Maan to do what he is doing!!!

Although he is angry, Pari has once again made him realize that it is only Geet in his heart and no one else. He will blame Geet for Pari's departure. And he will tell her that they have no other option than to present her to dadi. Just think about, he could have told his Dadi that even though he told her that he would present his fiance today, that due to some emergency she had to leave and that he will present her in 2 days. His Dadi completely trusts him and even though she would have been disappointed when she realized that it wasn't Geet who Maan had in mind, she would have said okay and given him the extra time. He could have found someone else to act as his fake fiance. But no it's only Geet that he wants, and he will trick her into the proposal.

As for Geet, she will first say no, but will feel guilty as she will blame herself for being so transparent with her feelings in front of Pari and agree with him that it is her fault that Pari left. She will be concerned about Dadi's health and say yes to being his fake fiance.

Once she is his fiance, he will try to find out what is keeping her from declaring her feelings.

I think that is what the Hoshiarpur trip is all about. I don't know why but I have a feeling that it is all planned by Maan. I think that he may think that it is the respect for her family that is stopping her from telling him how he feels. She is after all very traditional and he doesn't think that she would go against her family as he doesn't know what happened 2 months ago after he dropped her off on the road side. It is in Hoshiarpur that he will find out the truth and realize why she acted the way she did.

It's about time for the truth to come out in order for the story to move forward.

I maybe giving Maan a little too much credit, but what can I do I am a hopeless romantic.

i feel we are on the same path...i cant in my romantic mind fathom why he would want to use her. i feel he is clutching at any excuse he can to not let her leave. He does not want her to go. It was sheer bravado that made him tell her she is free. But is he free himself from her? He made lofty claims of there being no Hum between them...but he knows..what binds him to her..he had not been able to get rid of that one piece of thread that binds him to her...keeping is in attic is just moving location...nothing more..locking away is not going to make him stay away from her.

yes the promo does lead to him finding the truth. He is very protective of her and again..he is taking the excuse of him being her fiance to go with her and help her face her family...to give her the strength like he always has..first it was silent or unknown..now he does it openly..he is for her..and that is ...for all to see...

yep..i like the way..CVs have moved the story forward..tremendous job...
